Perfect!
This is the best robotic pool cleaner ever! If your in doubt on which robotic pool cleaner will do the job, look no further. It's easy to use and does all the work. It goes up the walls, cleans the stairs and picks up everything!! Also buy the stand and cover, they're a must!

In a word - AMAZING!
The first pool opening of the year usually consists of me spending the better part of an hour fishing out all of the fall and winter debris that has fallen into the pool around the cover (how that happens, I have no idea!). So when I read a review from a Dolphin product dealer, raving about the large capacity leaf bag on this model, I knew I had to give it a try.And boy am I glad I did! The initial clean was amazing but the bag did get full after vacuuming up about 90% of the leaf litter on the bottom of the pool. So I cleaned out the bag and ran it again. The pool was 100% clean from the floor, all the way up to the water line! The large capacity bag is made of a thick nylon material. So after the second pool sweep, I removed the bag, shook out the debris, and then ran it through a gentle cycle wash in my washing machine minus any fabric softener to maintain its absorbency. Worked like a charm!Couldn’t be happier with this purchase! Worth every penny!

Broke Down Within 3 Months - Warranty Requires A Lot of Hoop-Jumping
When the unit works, it does a decent job. However, the unit suddenly stopped working after about 3 months. Although repairs are covered under warranty, there is a lot of troubleshooting the company asks of you before offering to repair. Also, they require you to ship it back to their facility so they can repair it. During that time, you have no vacuum for your pool. Very disappointed, considering the cost of the device, how quickly is broke down, and the required level of effort needed to have repairs done. I would definitely look into another option for a pool vacuum. Dolphin/Maytronics customer care procedures are not customer friendly.

2024 model is a downgrade
I got my first Dolphin Premiere in 2017, and it did a great job of keeping my 35,000-gal pool clean from bottom to waterline. The 2024 model seemed too weak to clean the waterline, while the original tried to climb out of the pool. Also, the 2024 model I got did not let me know when the filter was full, suggesting a quality control issue. Fortunately, returning it was painless. In the end, I got a Dolphin E70 locally AND had my 7-year old Premier repaired by the same shop (for about half what the 2024 model costs). I love them both! The refurbished Premier seems even more vigorous than the original, and the E70 does an adequate job, plus it has all the advantages of its internet-connected app. So, which to use, and which to keep as a spare? While the old Premier is proving itself as I write this, I’ll probably use the E70 till it needs repair because its filter lasts longer between cleanings, and the filter is lots easier to clean.Bottom line: if you are in the market for a new pool robot, the easy but more pricey solution is a Dolphin E70. For the budget option, if you have the time and energy, find a used older Premier and have a local Dolphin dealer refurbish it. I’ve read a lot of reviews and talked to a few dealers. These seem like the best options to me.

Clarity!!!
Ordered 3/31, received the very next day around lunch. Just in time for all the pollen to begin falling from the Live Oaks that cover the property! We have had clarity issues ongoing and have been leaning on whether or not to upgrade the pump filter from glass beads to a finer media. We had to FLOC our pool and ever since that time, our clarity has been off. The pool would be clear until the bottom of the pool is disturbed and it would get cloudy. This Dolphin has immediately begun to pull not only stray leaves but all of those fine particles!Says it has a 3 year warranty so we’ll see what the longevity is but out the gate, I’m impressed! You can clearly see in the photos the path it’s made on the first few passes. Super happy right now.*********Update after a few days************So the oversized leaf bag is the champ! It grabs EVERYTHING off the floor - sand, particulates, etcWith that said, we did remove as much leaves and debris as possible with the net before running the machine. It’s great but don’t overload it.The ONLY negative I see so far is the wall climbing capability. We also own the Triton PS Plus, and that one will try to climb out of the pool. Only reason i bought the Premier is because some sensor went out and we didn’t have time to troubleshoot, get to a repair shop, etc. Pollen was literally falling from the trees! The Premier isn’t quite as strong but between the two of these, we should be very good. The leaves and sand are more important anyway because I can scrub the side of the pool with the brush.

The Total Package!!!
We put this thing to work immediately because honestly, with it being priced at the top of the market I wanted to start getting my money worth right away! In cases you’re wondering we have extended pool seasons in Texas today is 10/5 and it was 95 degrees! The thing that wowed me the most about this robot is its amazing wall climbing and wall clearing abilities! Say goodbye to that dirty water line that you usually have to scrub out with man power!! Another cool feature is that thing that looks a handle isn’t actually a handle (even though it’s great for that), it’s a stabilizer that makes this machine stick to your wall like glue giving it the force it needs to clean your walls thoroughly! So the big question is, “is it worth the money?”…. I’d say heck yea! This is an early review so we’ll have to see about durability but based off what I’ve seen in 3 days, I think I’ve bought my last pool robot!! I’ve never had one last more than 2 summers but this thing is built well and it seems like it’s going to last!! We’ll see…. I’ll do an update next season!
