it was good quality the sockets but the socket does not fit into the tool these guys got to redesign that because it's that tool is made for the socket to fit inside the nut and it does not I made it work but it's not the way it's supposed to be used that tool was designed for the whole the pool and you just stick the socket inside the tools but it does not accept it's all because the socket is too big to go in the hole

Worked perfect, the big socket on an impact wrench took less than 10 seconds to break the crankshaft pulley bolt loose. The hex tool worked as expected. Used on 2019 Odyssey timing belt and water pump job. And no, the heavy socket doesn't fit inside the pulley tool, you'll need a separate regular 19mm socket for use with pulley tool for reinstalling the bolt. Mine was torqued 47 lb/ft, then an additional 60 degree turn.

Worked well on my 2002 Honda civic. I used this with my air impact gun, before this I was borrowing my friend Milwaukee electric impact with a regular impact socket when I was doing timing kits on my Acura TL. 20$ for this beat 279+ for a Milwaukee and you get the socket and torque tool for the bolt winning

This is the Honda Pilot crankshaft socket that you need. My 2012 Pilot needed its timing belt replaced at 100K miles. I purchased socket and crankshaft holder because the crankshaft bolt was the only thing I worried about. I used this extra thick, 19mm socket and my 20v EarthquakeXT for about 5 seconds worth of "Ugga duggas" and the bolt came right out. It was a non-event and super easy.. No 6 ft cheater bar was needed. I was able to finish my timing belt and then used this crankshaft holder with my standard 19mm deep socket to tighten the crankshaft bolt it up. This is a great value to remove that stubborn bolt. The socket is very durable and heavy. The holder is also well built and strong. Do NOT use this extra heavy 19mm socket with this crank holder. They are not meant to be used together. Use this socket to remove the bolt. Then use a standard deep 19mm socket with this crank holder to torque the bolt.

The point of ordering a kit like this is to remove your pulley and re install it. The crack pulley wrench works fine. But the socket which in all regards SHOULD fit inside the wrench, does Not. To be fair, after looking at the listing again they do sorta off handedly say this... it does not say it in the description but the video shows the socket does not fit inside the wrench, and pictures state to use "a regular socket" when re installing the pulley. but it begs the question, why buy a kit with a socket that doesn't fit? when there are kits that do? The chances are high that even with an impact, * Like for me.* it didn't just zip off. So you may need a socket that fits in the wrench for removing it, and Definitely will for re installing... it was almost like they ordered this kit with the idea it would fit, it didn't, and they said sell it anyway. Point being is... if you are buying this kit its to utilize it to the fullest, buy a different kit and verify the socket fits in the wrench... there are other identical kits out there that work how the original design is supposed to work. do yourself a favor and buy one of those.

Should’ve bought this tool before renting out at oreilly for 50 bucks. The socket is for removing the bolt, it’s not supposed to be used with the harmonic balancer tool together, that’s why it won’t fit. The part for the harmonic balancer is for torquing (or using it to break free the 19mm if there’s no access to an impact gun ). The negative reviews are the ones that can’t read simple instructions and and prolly shouldn’t even be doing the job in the first place lol, gotta use the tool as it was designed for. Whole job took me 5 min to do and would highly recommend this for some on who knows what they’re doing as a DIY’er. Harmonic balancer tool was slightly off but nonetheless was able to torque it to spec without issue.

I tried with my air gun and my heavy duty electric impact with my snap on sockets, my kobalt sockets and a few other sockets and nothing could crack the Honda bolt loose, put this oversize socket on, and it comes loose with the electric gun. Definitely worth the purchase, and having the holding tool to re-torque also came in handy!

It works wonderfully with the common impact socket the crank does not come out, you have to use this one and the clamping of the crank itself only serves to torque when you put it back and, as advice, use red loctite. Works for J37A4 from Acura Tl 2009
