Dragon's Halloween: An Acorn Book

The kids in my class (3-6yo) loved the other books in the Dragon series, so I was super excited to get this one for them. I read through it the day it came in the mail and, while somewhat entertaining, I felt that this book overall pales in comparison to the other ones. Also does have the word 'stupid' if that's concerning to you.

Really disappointed in this "children's" book. One story uses the word "stupid" in it, which I found completely inappropriate for a child. Sure, older children eventually will learn this word, but my 4 year old doesn't know this word, and hopefully won't for quite some time. I just substituted "silly" when reading it, but was really disappointed regardless. The author missed the mark on this one, and I won't be trusting any other books from them.

My 6-year-old LOVES these! They seem just her speed and the stories are so sweet that she just wants more. We've ordered them all and she keeps asking for more!! We've tried a couple of the other Acorn books but this character is by far her favorite and most-requested.

Cute book. My son just finished first grade and loves the whole series. He loves it so much that he reads the whole book in one sitting.

My grandson loves the Dragon books and was looking forward to this one--and it didn't disappoint.

My first grade son fell in LOVE with these books last year. He still reads them in 2nd grade and gets SO excited when new ones come out.

Dragon’s Halloween is a fun and easy chapter book for early readers. Kids may be familiar with Author Dav Pilkey for the graphic novel series Captain Underpants and Dogman. Pilkey brings the same humor to his Dragon series which is much more accessible for lower level readers.

My five year old loves this series. He was so excited when this one arrived.

Love the whole dragon series. My 3 year old sons favorite bed time stories.
