True Verdigris Color, I like it but...
I bought two arbors to tame my grape vines and to make a cottage garden orchard on my property. I really like the color, it is a true verdigris dark spruce green with streaks of oxidized copper color running thru it. Another review said they were REALLY GREEN, but I did not find this to be the case. Mine matched the Amazon picture exactly. The color blends in nicely with the landscape and doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. I couldn't decide if I wanted a natural wood arbor or a white one, I happy with this choice as it looks perfect in our landscape. It appears to be sturdy enough, I will amend this review if I find otherwise.I could not give the arbor arch a full five stars because of the following reasons: The packages arrived by FEDX and one of the boxes was completely opened on one end with the contents unsecured to any of the interior packaging, I was sure that all the pieces were not in the box because of the way it arrived, I mean all it needed was some secure tape on that open end! However, I was pleasantly surprised to realize all pieces were intact, I attribute this to a diligent delivery man who must of found loose pieces all over his truck and stuck them back in the box, I cannot for the life of me come to any other conclusion, honestly the packaging was a mess. The directions are very good, I do wish the measurements weren't in metric tho, I am not good at converting millimeters into inches. But it wasn't too hard to figure out, just annoying. Next, it took me about 1/2 an hour to put the arbor together. I needed help with the actual in ground set up. This takes two people to set the arbor into the ground because four rods are going into four ground stakes and it isn't easily done by one person alone. The rods themselves posed another challenge as they did not fit into the ground spikes. The rods were slightly off size and we had to 'stretch them' in order to make them fit. My suggestion is before you do anything, check the ground spikes to see if they fit into the trellis rods before you set the whole thing up. If they need adjusting you will need to use a hammer and force them a bit to make sure they glide into place. DO NOT leave them on, take them off once you get the correct fit and proceed according to directions. It is impossible to put arbor into ground with the spike feet attached because there is nothing to pound into the ground. All in all, I am very pleased with the look, I love the color and they seem to suit my purpose very nicely. The product does need a bit of adjusting, but for the price and the free shipping I would say it is a good bargain. Also good to note, that I went to several area garden centers and Home Depot and they do not carry this product, so my only option was to order these on line. Good Luck!

Check Parts
I would have given this 5 stars because it's very sturdy and looks great. Relatively easy to assemble but I suggest assembling it on its side and not standing up. My only complaint is that after having it halfway assembled, I noticed that there were 2 small dents that probably occurred during shipping. It was annoying but not worthy of returning.

Wonderful!!
I am really impressed with this arch! After reading other reviews I was kind of skeptical about the color. Some reviewers said it was a bright green but I ordered it anyway, after all it was going in a garden. Not to worry it is a beautiful green and black mixture and honestly I can only tell if it's green if I am close upon it.Another feature is how easy it is to put together. I didn't need my husband's help until I was ready to place it on the stakes. I assembled the sides by laying it on the ground and definitely near the area where it was to be installed. You will need a regular screw driver or phillips head and also pliers to help tighten the bolts. The instructions on how to place it on the stakes was a little confusing to me, especially about the measurements. What I did was place the stakes approximately 48 inches apart (length) and approximately 20 inches (depth). I had hubby hold the arch while I guided the legs into the stakes. They were a little wide so I pulled up the stakes with legs attached and readjusted them until they were straight and then placed them in the ground. My soil was a little damp and not hard so it was easy to work with. There is enough room under the arch for a bench no more than 48 inches. I hear there is a bench that you can buy to match. If you do buy the bench be aware of the predrilled holes on the side of the arch. Make sure that they are in the right position to attach the bench. I always like to read reviews for tips and problems so hopefully this will help another consumer.

Not for long term.
I really loved this arch for the first few years. I bought two, one is 4 yrs old, the other is 5 yrs old. The first 3 yrs it looks great, but around that time it starts to fall apart. First the bars and scrolls in the middle rust, disintegrate, and fall off. Then the long bars start disintegrating. On my 5 yr old one, I hardly have anything left in the middle design sections, it looks like two empty arches standing there, even though it's lightly covered with roses, but not heavily covered. The 4 yr old one has just started to fall apart.I am now searching for two new arches to replace these with and will definitely look for reviews older than 1 or 2 years.

Perfect for my location
Easy to assemble. I used the assembled top, curved piece to mark the locations of the ground stakes and installed them first. Then the sides and then the top. I used a level on top of a straight board to assure that the stakes were in the ground at equal height.Knowing that metal rusts, particularly in Florida, I sprayed all the joints with clear satin Rustoleum, and sprayed WD-40 into the bag of nuts and bolts.A Bignonia vine will grow up the left side of this arbor. It did take Amazon the 3rd try before getting this item to me. The first two times they sent a Obelisk instead.

Nice looking arch but...
Received it today and opened package, which was in good shape considering it's size. Everything on the inside was packaged and secured nicely. Even the package with the nuts and bolts was still intact. However, nothing ticks me off more than being short on the fasteners, and as it hold true, I was short 6 lousy washers. Thanks for "ACE" is the place close by so I could get them and finish the assembly. One thing it could use would be a brace across the bottom for installation only, so you don't have to mess with the measurement. Other that that is looks nice, and the woman of the house likes it, I guess that all it counts. I it wasn't for the minor details I would have given it a 5 star.

It is a little flimsy, but it does the job
It looks nice for what we are using it for. I was a little disappointed with the butt joints connecting the sides to the arch, it is wobbly and not very strong at all. Still, it should work for where we need it.If you are looking for strength and stability, look somewhere else. If you are looking for something that looks nice from a distance, this is good.
