The square contemporary shape is perfect for a small-er area, but it isn’t limited to that. I just love the look. The table itself is very sturdy but I haven’t put anything in the drawer yet to know how that is. It was easy to assemble but for convenience & ease it is better to have two people.I did contact the mfgr bec the screws seemed way too bi(fat) for the holes & I didn’t want to split the wood. He was Very helpful and had me measure the hole stating the size it was supposed to be which it was. He assured me that if we had trouble they would work w/ us in getting a new piece. The screws Did work without a problem, they were just very snug.Others complained about differentiating between the long & short screws but they are clearly marked in separate pkgs so I’m not sure what the problem was.I would definitely buy another one if I had a place for it.

Bought this as a warehouse deal fully expecting to possibly get something with light scratches. Instead, the top had some gouges that could not easily be fixed with some black nail polish.The manufacturer's website for part replacement was very easy to use. You do need to have the parts sheet and the site has pictures of what it's looking for to input. While I was warned about possible shipping delays, my replacement part request was processed immediately and I had a new top within a week.For the people saying that the unit shakes, I wonder if they are correctly putting the item together? The hex screws need to be tightened to the point of almost cracking the wood. Otherwise, they will loosen. The drawer is a bit hard to assemble with a Phillips hand screwdriver (not included) but I'm not sure using a power tool would be a good idea as the place that the screw enters into the wood is not much more than a dimple. It does not screw in properly unless you hit that exact spot. A power tool would probably misalign the drawer. The knob could be tighter but those almost always need to be tightened after periods of usage.The drawer is not very deep but perfectly fits those smaller items that generally litter the top of tables. Some of the reviews complain about the drawer not being flush. I don't think this is a huge issue as I'm 5 foot 3 in and I have to be crouching next to the unit to actually see the gap. Wood is still covering the closing. My unit is black so it could be a more visible issue with other colors.

Very good deal for the price. It is real wood, and very sturdy. The packaging was great and they even labeled the baggies of screws! Assembly was decent, took me (a heavily pregnant woman) about 45 minutes to put together. Had to readjust some screws on the drawer a little bit, but that was my only issue. I used the Allen wrench that came with the table. You will need a Phillips head as well, they do not supply one (no big deal to me).Overall very pleased and will probably buy more in the future!

Very sturdy and looks great. My only gripe with it, overall, is that the drawer bottom seems a little thin/flimsy. Not like it'll be holding all that much, so time will tell on how that holds up.Assembly was annoying as the hardware wasn't well-labeled. The short and long screws are difficult to distinguish, and I accidentally used a long screw to secure the top which caused it to almost poke through the surface (there's a little raised blemish from that on the first unit).When assembling, make sure you have a ratchet, extension, and hex bit - especially if you're assembling more than one. I assembled both using the included allen wrench, and my hands were nearly bleeding by the time I was done.

No instructions but the assembly diagrams were pretty good. My problem was that the screw holes didn't line up so the screws were extremely hard to get in. It was so hard that I couldn't turn the Allen wrench by hand, I had to use wrenches on them to get them tight. Then, the drawer wouldn't fit so I had to loosen one side up and shim it up a little higher. Once assembled it's pretty solid now but took me over an hour to do.

I purchased two of these side tables. They are very good quality for the price! Easy to assemble and sturdy. Perfect for our guest room.

Needed simple nightstand wanted this kind of design for charging and power on lower shelf and small drawer for AirPods etc, exactly what I was looking for and at the price I can't believe they made any money on this. It's relatively heavy doesn't feel cheap at all. I got walnut finish it looks great to me. It doesn't wobble (it's heavy to be still/stable) and is the size I needed and looks great. Couldn't be happier.

We got the walnut finish, which is just beautiful on all surfaces, even inside the drawer, which is spacious. The curved lines on the top, supports, and drawer make for graceful lines, imo. All the parts were there and logical to assemble. The allen wrench is very strong. I needed my own phillips screwdriver for the 9 drawer screws. I found the 8 longer screws for the legs quite hard to completely tighten, but it was finally possible, making for the sturdiness. In general, it takes a bit of strength to assemble, but the design is sensible, imo. The table has a lovely sheen, even wood grain, and practical design for our needs. Quick delivery & nicely packed. Sturdy with good thickness of "wood" used and finish was okay too - only one blemish on bottom of one leg & I was able to put that to the unseen side of the table. Hard to find a top as big as this & I only needed one drawer so it really serves my purpose. The dowel is not necessary in the assembly. The drawer front in the picture makes the drawer appear to be a practical depth but that is NOT the case - it is only 2 1/4" deep inside, rendering it nearly useless. For that reason, I game it 4 stars instead of 5.
