Avoid reading dumb reviews. This product performs amazing!
Amazing value! Great anti-seize lubricant. Amazing performance.Avoid reding the ignorant reviews from st*** people saying that it comes half filled. They happen to not know that copper is a metal and metal weight more than other lubricants. Also they never read the 8 oz. please see pictures for the weights using a precision weight. My container came filled with 8.3 OZ the rest is weigh of container and applicator. This product handles alot of heat, I have always used it in all my vehicles. Never problems, and lasted almost the lifetime of the vehicle of applied correctly.

Best General Purpose Anti Seize
You will never have a stuck nut or bolt using this product. I've used this on lug nuts and studs for over 45 years. And I've never had a stuck or frozen lug nut, ever. And I have never had one come loose. This also works well on threaded shotgun screw in chokes, spark plugs, shock absorber nuts and bolts. Name it, and it will prevent frozen, stuck fasteners. For exhaust manifold bolts use the Loctite Nickel Anti Seize. It is rated for even higher temperatures.

Does what it's supposed to do for steel-on-steel contact
I use this copper-based anti-seize compound on my Glocks, where the steel slide and rails contact one another. Looks exactly like the same sort of lubricant Glock uses on their guns as they're shipped from the factory to stores. I use a small bladed painter's knife to apply the lube to my pistols' rails, and it works superbly at providing a smooth-operating slide action. A small hobby paint brush would also work well.Note that this is NOT for guns (or other objects) that have dissimilar metals between slide and receiver frame (i.e., alloy aluminum Beretta frame with a stainless slide, etc.). A copper-based compound like C5-A is only suitable where both contact metals are ferric-based (steel, primarily). When in contact with steel and aluminum, the copper can cause binding issues, exactly the opposite of what you want and need the slide action to do.Excess compound cleans up easily enough, though I would strongly recommend the use of protective wear on one's hands when handling this material. I use relatively inexpensive nitrile gloves sourced from my favorite neighborhood warehouse store whenever cleaning and lubricating my guns, so it's a relative no-brainer to continue to use them with the C5-A compound as well. Cleanup is straightforward, any overage on the pistol comes off with a wipe of a damp rag; I use a couple of squirts of my customary cleaning solution (Hoppe's Elite) on the rag to aid things along. With any contact on skin, soap and warm water will do the trick. All said, the size of this container was something closely akin to overkill, but upon pricing the 1 oz tube of this same stuff, the 8 oz bottle was just too hard to pass up, even though I can easily say that I'm set for a couple of lifetimes with this stuff if I don't come across additional uses for the C5-A. But then again, with all the automotive possibilities, those uses shouldn't be hard to think up....solid 4 1/2 stars, only letdown was the overly broad application brush provided to the underside of the bottle lid.

GREAT STUFF, but NOT intended for REGULAR USE on Glocks!
I'd give this 5-stars if it was not for so many people using it incorrectly...As many other folks out there, I use this stuff to lube the rails of my Glock after the first time at the range. The Glock factory reps refer to C5-A as a "bedding compound," in that it helps the slide mate to the receiver during the break-in process. However, beyond the first 300-400 rounds, C5-A should NOT be used.C5-A contains silica, which is fine grit sand. This means it is causing wear to your slide (as it should). Due to Glock's tight manufacturing tolerances, some "wear" is required during break-in to help your firearm operate smoothly. If you cause too much wear to your slide, it may get loose, sloppy, and become unreliable and potentially unsafe.Use this once or twice after buying a new Glock, put a few hundred rounds through it, and then put it on the shelf and go back to Rem Oil, CLP, or whatever your favorite gun lube is. C5-A should NOT be your regular lube!!!

Great product
This is my go to for spark plug threads to avoid them seizing, O2 sensor threads and other automotive high temp applications. Great quality Made in the USA product that is the perfect consistency.
