This is an excellent food for Tropheus and other herbivorous fishes, and combined with raw lettuce leaves, it's a complete diet that will keep your algae-browsers healthy and happy. As noted in another review, recent batches of the OSI flakes do tend to discolor the water to a green-blue tint, which you can absorb onto charcoal and/or eliminate with more frequent water changes, neither of which is a bad thing to be doing in any case.

This is an excellent flake food for my African Cichlid herbivores/omnivores. One downside I have noticed recently is that this food can discolor the tank water, turning it slightly blue. Additional carbon in the filter and more frequent water changes seem to help.

This food helps to bring out color in most African Cichlids. The majority of the fish from the fish from Lake Malawi and Lake Victoria do well on this food. I rotate it with two other pellet foods. Meat eating fish from Lake Tanganika should not be feed this food. They need a more meaty diet. I have found that the O.S.I. brand of Spirulina flakes to be the best brand on the market.

This is a good price for a great product. No going to the store hunting for it just point and click and it is on its way.

They normally are good but this time the food arrived in tiny little crumbles in the whole bucket. It makes a mess. I miss the big flakes.

I have 2 50 gallon tanks of Cichlids, they love this food and seem to be thriving on it. The price is good and I received the product quickly.
