I really enjoyed this book! It starts off with a brief history of ferns followed by some botanical details such as the parts of the plant and how they reproduce. The mid section is dedicated to detailing 29 types of ferns commonly kept as houseplants. It also discusses gardening with ferns outdoors as well as profiling another 27 types (by the way I had no idea Horsetail Rush was a fern!!!).The remainder of the book has 8 plant projects including a terrarium, vertical garden, kokedama, and how to mount a Staghorn. There are even a few art projects included!Anyone with an interest in ferns and getting crafty will enjoy this book, and the cover is so attractive it makes a nice addition to a display shelf in your home too.
