Still holding after a month! Stay away from the Permatex brand, regular or extreme did not last and fell off quickly!Loctite all the way!

Very disappointed with this product and with Loctite's customer service. I followed the directions word for word, after the first attempt I let cure for a few days and as soon I went to adjust the mirror it came off in my hand. Well good thing this product came with 2 kits right? I cleaned off the glue and set up for attempt #2. I came out the next morning to find that the mirror was actually still in place, but an approximately 6" crack had appeared running directly through the center of the mirror button. The glass was completely smooth and free of damage the day before. I contacted Loctite directly who told me that I had to file a claim with Amazon. After filing a claim with amazon and jumping through several more hoops I finally got in contact with a representative from Loctite who called me a liar and told me that there had to be previous damage and that I wasn't telling him the full story. After a few days of exchanging emails they finally agreed to refund the price of the product but refused to help cover my windshield in any way. The truck sat for a few months while I did some work to it, well today I took it out for its first drive since replacing the mirror, It lasted all of 10 minutes until I hit a pothole and the mirror fell off again, this time taking 2 pieces of glass with it. I'm baffled that this is how Loctite treats their customers. I've been a lifetime Loctite fan until now. I will be avoiding this company from this point forward. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Perfectly reapplied mirror to windshield

I have one of those weird Honda windscreens where the mirror seems to drop off every year or so after sitting in the hot California sun. Tried having professionals fix this - still drops off. This simple to use kit works really well so long as you sand off the previous glue. Doesn't stick forever but usually get at least a year's driving in before it comes off again after sitting in 90+F!

Application was easy and my rear view mirror felt sturdy right away, I applied it in the summer but it only lasted for about 5 months. My mirror fell off while driving in November. The glue also ate away at the black material behind the mirror. Try looking elsewhere for a fix.

I used this to reapply my rear view mirror, it was easy to use. I did watch a YouTube video as well on how to apply.

This just kept on slipping and never fully cured/hardened
