Seems to be good so far
Only been running a few weeks now, but is quiet. The cables were more than long enough. Liking the semi-modular. Just needed something inexpensive to power an older i7 3rd gen with an rx570... Does the job with breaking the bank ..

After 1.5 years, still going strong! Enormous value; great budget PSU.
Been building PCs as a hobby for years as well as professionally and Raidmax offers tremendous value with their power supplies. My main rig has a Raidmax Thunder V2 735W that I bought almost 7 years ago that is still working perfectly! This new(ish) Vortex line seems to be just as good. The Vortex 635W had a low price and everything I needed in a budget PSU for a midrange build. It started out powering a Ryzen 5 1600 with a Radeon RX 580 about a year and a half ago and did the job with no complaints. Recently I upgraded with a case swap, a new B550 motherboard, a Ryzen 5 5600X and an EVGA 1080 Ti SC2 I got from a friend plus a few extra RGB fans! The Vortex has had no issues with the higher power draw from my new components and hasn't skipped a beat.If I had a single complaint, I'd say the cables are just a touch shorter than I would like. Have not had any issues in standard ATX cases but if you had a particularly tall case you might have issues with the length of the CPU power cable. Overall though: good looks, stable and reliable power delivery, low noise and low cost.Picture is from when I finished upgrading to the new parts :D

ports
it recommend using two separate pcie ports for any thing higher than 225w but it only has one port, it semi modular so its nice but if I knew I was this disgusting with the cable management I would have got a higher wattage psu with non modular idk I'm just different.

Decent PSU for the price.
I've used Raidmax power supplies before. Mostly in budget builds.. In the mid range builds I always want at least a semi modular PSU and at least Bronze rated. Has enough power for most good builds with no issues. Do not expect this to be great for any dual Graphics card builds. Or to use for massive overclocking.. I mainly get these because the Supply of Power supplys has dried up..

So far so good
I used a number of Raidmax power supplies in the past. The older ones were very sturdy and lasted 4-5 years easily. Unfortunately, I burned through 2 of them in the last couple of years. Hopefully, this one will last longer than 1-2 years.
