Like a careless idiot
I bought my first one of these (for about $30) direct from Brinkmann when they were still in business. Like a careless idiot, I lost it when I left it in a rental car and their Lost & Found told me it hadn't been turned in.No wonder; it's the best and brightest 2 D-Cell flashlight ever made. Yeah, better than a MagLite, which I also have.I bought another Brinkmann to replace it, here on amazon, a few months ago, for more than $30 but less than the going price is now.My advice? If you can get one at a fair price, buy it. If not as a great flashlight, then maybe as an investment!

MEH ! For the money you can buy a much better quality and brighter flashlights. Not as good quality as the Maglight LED. It's a very poor copy. I recently bought some Duracell flashlights from Costco for $10 on sale. They regulary retail for $19.99 for 2. They are 500 lumens, 3C batteries.Coast is another brand I like a lot too. I usually buy them on sale at Christmas time in Home Depot. They make awesome gifts or for just keeping in your house, car, boat,etc....

Such a waste of money
Extremely hard to use. Not bright at all. Very heavy. Such a waste of money.

BRINKMAN VERSUS MAG LITE
NICE HEAVY LITE AND 3 WATTS IS BRIGHT. MAG LITES CAN FOCUS THE BEAM AS WITH BRINKMAN'S DO NOT. BOTH ARE NICE FLASLIGHTS
