Big Caution on the label, take heed
I use this for a little outdoor waterfall I built using large river rocks. When the water starts turning green, I just put a 1/4 cup and it clears the water right up. Great product, strong chlorine smell that does dissipate. The warning on the label took me back a step. It says that it can explode if you get the package wet..., so I keep it in the garage on a shelf that stays very dry.

Works as Designed
It is pool shock. What else is there to say about it. It works in your pool, though is not what I am using it for. I am using it for purifying water to drink, and to make fire without matches or a lighter.
