Do you put seeds in the big or little opening side?

Greetings! It should be put into the little opening side.

Are these compatible with the Click and Grow?

Greetings! Currently shape doesn't fit Click and Grow, as we are updating this. The next version will be compatible.

Is the small hole supposed to stay open?

Greetings! Yes, it should stay open, and it's for holding the seeds. Please don't keep the smart soil very wet, as seeds won't be able to absorb a lot of water at the beginning, too much water will make it easy for algae and mold occur, it may not be a nice view for many people. If you use our hydroponic indoor garden, just keep the water level to the middle of the Min. and Max., it will be better for plants to grow.
