Fun expansion!
Great expansion that adds more maps and two more factions. If you are on the fence with Root base game, know that the game is more fun with expansions. Both factions are a blast to play!

Great expansion for a great game
A friend of mine purchased this game from Pax East a while back. I loved the base game's 4 unique factions and how each one was essentially playing it's own game. The expansion factions are fun and balanced and really add to the game. I can't wait to get the other expansion as well in time once I master these 2!If you are new to Root, you will be taken in by the charming art and high quality board and pieces. There is a learning curve, but it is so much fun to try and play every faction. No game runs the same, and no two factions are even remotely similar in play style. There is just so much to love with this game!

An All-Encompassing Boost To The Game’s Fun
Where the Riverfolk Expansion, though fun, failed to bring enough variability to allow players to continue enjoying the game; this goes above and beyond. The factions are outstanding, and I for one find myself enjoying the two new maps even more than I do the factions. The maps’ unique mechanics and designs alone make this a huge improvement to the replayability of Root

Vielseitiges Brettspiel
