Replacement USB Cable for Leapfrog, My Pal Scout, Violet Tablet, Story Time Pad, Tag Junior Scout Pal, Tag Junior Violet Book Pal, Tag Reading System, Leapster Explorer Computer, LeapPad etc

I ordered this as a replacement for my kiddos Leap Pad 2 and it works perfectly! I had no problems with it staying connected like I read on some other listings. I like the length on this cable, quite a bit longer than the original that came with the Leap Pad. The original cable had a freak run in with our crock pot and I did not want to chance using a compromised cord. I thought this was reasonably priced for a replacement and I was glad I ordered it and finally got around to connecting it and downloading games, books & videos directly to the Leap Pad... I like that option a lot better than having to keep track of game cartridges... especially with a 2 yr old!

My family has a Leapfrog Explorer and we lost the cable to sync it with the computer. The Leapfrog Explorer runs on batteries so this didn't matter for a long time. However, when we recently purchased a cartridge called "Kindergarten" the Explorer wouldn't recognize the cartridge and called for a software update - which required hooking it up to the computer.I purchased this cable based on Amazon reviews that it would work with the Leapfrog Explorer. It did and I'm happy to report that the Leapfrog Explorer was successfully able to get the needed software upgrade.This cable was an affordable way to be able to upgrade the hardware (Leapfrog Explorer game console). I recommend it for people in a similar situation.

The cord doesn’t fit with the toys it’s marketed for. So basically I bought it for nothing. They don’t go with this cord. It doesn’t connect at all. It requires a completely different cable because the ports are shaped differently.

I was given a Leapfrog Explorer for my great nephew and the USB cord was missing. It came quickly and worked perfectly. Very happy with it.

It worked for my nephew's LeapsterGS. It's a little loose but connects to our computer.

I have the older LeapFrog Tag Reader Pen, model N2390 and lost my original cable over the years. This worked perfectly to download new books for my kids.

Works as it should. Got the job done.

For some reason this didn't want to fit properly with my son's Leap Pad Ultra. I searched Amazon for "Leap Pad Ultra charger" and this was one of the first things that came up. It seemed like it was fitting tightly, but then would start to slide back out on its own because of where the plastic cover part starts on the chord. My husband trimmed a little of the plastic off and it works great now.
