Lightspeed Outdoors Tall Canopy with Shade Wall, Beach Tent, Horizon Blue

We have a toy hauler camper with the ramp that can be lifted and used as a deck with rails. We love sitting out there but needed something to protect from the hot sun in Texas summers. This tall canopy works wonders! It gives us plenty of room when we are standing under it and especially when we are sitting. It fits perfectly within the rails of the deck and we can secure the 4 legs to the corners of the deck railing. The shade wall can be attached to any side to protect from sun, wind, or rain, plus we purchased an extra side wall for just in case... This canopy is easy enough for one person to pop it up, or take it down, by themselves. It is VERY strong and flexible in high winds as well and folds up to not much bigger than a large chair plus is very light weight. Other canopies would bend and be torn up in the wind but this one just flexes and holds up great! We are so pleased with this purchase and addition to make our camping trips even more comfortable and relaxing!

Well designed, strikes the right balance of being pretty big and giving sizable shade coverage for multiple adults while still being extremely light weight and compact. This isn't heavy duty and may have issues with strong wind, but a traditional heavy duty canopy is going to be significantly bigger and heavier. This was absolutely perfect for a family day at the beach. Easy to setup and take down.

We used this beach shelter last week for our week RV-camping at the beach.Pros: Easy to carry, lightweight and folds down to relatively small side, easily covered 2 people in zero gravity chairs plus side tables, ird s flexible in the wind, secured to our RV at two pints made it very secure, didn't have any problems with strong gusts of wind.Cons: The instructions/videos need to point out that the order of unfolding parts and the importance of the blue strap connecting all the legs. It took us until the 3rd time putting it up to understand what order and how to make sure the blue strap was correctly placed to connect al legs. It is very easy to put up, but watching the video and then trying to assemble was a poor experience.Overall I really like this sun canopy and look forward to using it for many years. It does kind of dance around in the wind, but since we had it securely tied, it kind of looked like bouncy spider legs! I think that was a plus as it would give in the wind, and not blow away. We used it on asphalt (RV parking) and so did not use the sand bags or stakes. We also did not use the sun screen, but I like the ability to move it to any side you may need it. Would definitely recommend this product.

Update: I've used this product 5 times at the beach. Legs no longer extend and canopy is useless. I contacted Lightspeed directly to address the issue. They had me jump through hoops by taking pictures of non-extending legs to "get a better understanding of the issue". Seems pretty self explanatory but ok, sent requested photos and Amazon order information. Email response after pic and requested info is to contact Amazon since they filled my order. Basically, we won't stand by our product. RUN BUYERS!awesome product! it's super light and easy as heck to set up. if you can open an umbrella, you can set up this Canopy. living in the gulf with many islands to chill, having this canopy is a game changer for uv protection. doesn't matter which use for transportation - boat or jet ski - it's an easy inclusion to take with. I'm darker toned and don't think much of the impact but wifey is on the fairer side and a 2 hour day in the sun can become torturous and that's no bueno. easily a must have as a beachgoers - for realz. enjoy!!!

Well I have to say I really LIKED this product when I first set it up. It was little confusing at first but once I did it once, it was easy to set up the next time. Great space underneath and decent shade cover… The only issue I had was when the wind started blowing above 5 KTS! It immediately collapsed I couldn’t get the mid-leg hinges to stay straight no matter what I did. (I even tried the tie-downs with spikes) .. Is there a trick to this that I don’t know?? A slight breeze at 6 KTS and that’s enough to collapse the tent? Crazy. Great for camping (maybe with no wind) but not for the beach if it can’t take a light breeze. Disappointed.
