Ok, this tractor isn't the same as the Tonka Trucks from my childhood...
Ok, this tractor isn't the same as the Tonka Trucks from my childhood... but, they are pretty sturdy and my grandkids love them! I also purchased the Tonka Dump Truck. There are some parts made of plastic that sould have been made from steel rather than from plastic. But, overall they are pretty sturdy. The bucket on the tractor took some practice for the kids to figure out how to make work. They are enjoying them thoroughly!

Solid
My 3 year old loves this thing. It has a solid build. He tries to bring it with him everywhere we go and it's sometimes impossible because it's large for him. He sits on it and it seems to be holding up just fine.

A big let down
I got the loader and the truck, the truck is like our classic one, almost all metal and really robust, the loader, not only the bucket is in plastic but so is the mechanism that allow to move it, you can't load it with sand as it always get too weak, also, it does not raise high enough and bucket does not inclune enough to be able to dump the sand in the truck. We still have my loader tonka from when I was a kid at my parents cottage and it still work as it should.
