This was a total waste of $16. We have used Bitter Apple spray with our other dogs and it WORKED. It's super expensive, so we thought we would try this. Nope. Useless. It has not stopped our dog from chewing on the wooden window sills. We've sprayed the sill, numerous times, soaking the wood. Several applications. We've even made him smell the container, which he just sniffs the nozzle, looks up at us and it's like "okay, whatever". He doesn't shy away from it. And he obviously doesn't care about the taste, because he's still chewing on the wood. Complete waste of money. I'm going back to Bitter Apple. It will be worth the money spent if it's still as good as it was many years ago.

I literally received a spray bottle full of nothing but water. I wanted to test it out before using it to train my pets to see if it was safe. So I sprayed a clothe heavily and then smelled it. It smelled like nothing and was colorless. So, I decided to taste it to see if maybe it had a flavor and it tasted like nothing. I assumed it was water so i used a dropped and put it on my tongue and discovered it was nothing but water. What a ripoff!

No idea if the product works or not. The bottle sprayer does not work! With a great deal of effort I was able to get 1 or 2 drops of the product to fall on the outdoor landscaping wiring, I ended up just pouring it where I could. Wasted most of it, unable to spray it where I need to including indoors. This is expensive, took a long time to be delivered. I would suggest that a responsible retailer have an employee test one or two sprays to see if the product is useable.

Dry disappointed with this purchase. Have a puppy that chews everything, read the reviews, and decided to try it. It was like adding steak sauce to a bland steak. She chewed even worse. Threw the remainder of the bottle in the trash.

My dogs have stopped chewing!!So that means it works. :) Happy pups!

It does the job every time. Whenever we pick it up now, our puppy actually understands what’s going to happen to whatever he is obsessed with that we don’t want him playing with. Haven’t had to use it much anymore since he generally obeys when we tell him to not lick or bite something he’s not supposed to.

It smells like citronella and makes me wheeze. Has zero deterrent effect on the puppy. The only good thing I can say about it is it appears to be non toxic as the dog licks surfaces that have been sprayed with it.

Works great but must re-spray area every couple of days. My puppy wouldn't touch the furniture when it was first applied for about 24 hours then the scent must of wore off, she would start chewing again until I re-sprayed.
