I currently carry license, debit card, and a $20 bill for emergencies. I find the side buttons a bit annoying to operate, meaning they are hard to press. So if you want to take a screenshot, for example, it is difficult. And my battery life has gone to hell = gone down a lot. I think the battery life is just because of an iOS update-NOT THE CASE. But I am a little worried it could be the case-maybe it is making light contact with the buttons? I sort of doubt that, but in the Map app, it seems to go a bit crazy, even when I am not doing anything. Maybe tonight I will remember to take it out of the case and see if the phone easily makes it through the night, which it used to do. Now I have almost always got a battery warning when I wake up. So...I think the case is very good. If you are an active person, who wants the durability of plastic, but without putting your phone in an otter box. I think this is a good choice. I have situations where I need to take my phone out of the case, including changing the sim sometimes.
