Does the job nicely. This allowed me to add a Nato clamp handle to side of my Smallrig Black Mamba cage. It simply screws into place with no wobble and performs perfectly.

Good length rail for rigging with - I use mine on an FX6 to mount a second monitor and it sits on the top handle really nicely. Solid construction, easy to use and feels very secure with the locking pin as well.

Screwing and unscrewing accessories to a camera cage takes time, especially if you like to break your rig down each time. I got a couple of Nato rails for my Smallrig video cage for attaching a handle and battery plate. Makes rigging up and down much easier - and the bonus is that the ability to slide the handle and battery makes it easy to get a better balance. Not rocket science - but Nato isn't NASA :)

If your camera setup is fully Smallrig these are great - however, I had a Tilta handle spare that I thought I'd use, but because this rail is 'slim', it wouldn't fit! The Tilta handle has a slightly deeper profile, and would only work if I added a washer on each bolt of the rail, lifting it ever so slightly. This worked a treat, so overall I'm happy - it's superb quality, a great price, looks lovely - but just beware that it might not work with non-Smallrig accessories.

I use this on top of my cage to mount my monitor with the smallrig nato clamp, this low profile one works great as it allows me to keep the camera in the cage when I want to use my camera for photography I can keep the nato rail mounted and it leaves enough clearance for a godox wireless flash trigger. The other nato clamps caused a clearance issue. This is great

Het product is prima maar Smallrig heeft het design aangepast wat tegenvalt. Normaal gesproken in de oude modellen zaten er twee stop-pins aan het begin en aan het eind om te voorkomen dat de top handle of side handle eraf valt. Echter nu hebben ze deze aan de zijkant gemonteerd, deze hebben een scherp randje. Vroeger waren ze mooi rond afgewerkt. Ik heb daarom besloten deze niet meer te gebruiken
