Oranginer Men's Barefoot Shoes Big Toe Box Cross Training Minimalist

Took a flyer on these shoes and have been quite happy with them. They are well built and have held up well. They are heavier than you would expect, but overall that's a good thing as the sole is durable and well made. Good barefoot feel but enough cushion so walking on hard surfaces is comfortable. These are good for walking and gym workouts, though probably not enough side support for more active sports. The sole looks like it has toe compartments, but that is just cosmetic.

I’ve been wearing these for a few days now and overall, I’m very happy. The shoes are comfortable, flexible, and give a great ground feel – exactly what I was looking for in a minimalist, barefoot-style design.The materials feel breathable and lightweight, and they held up nicely across different surfaces like pavement, sand, gravel, and natural trails.However, one important note for sizing:My foot is exactly 26 cm long, and I ordered EU size 41 (US Men’s 8). While the fit was okay, I found the toe box a bit too snug, with my big toe lightly touching the top. If you're between sizes or prefer extra toe freedom (as barefoot shoes usually encourage), I recommend going up a size – EU 42 would’ve likely been perfect for me.Bottom line: Awesome shoe for the price – just consider sizing up if you’re close to the next size.

I purchased these to replace my 20 yr old New Balance MT trail. NB has gotten way out of hand when it comes to their minimus line of shoes. They all have moon shoe soles on them that don't belong on a barefoot shoes.I trail ran in these for the first time today. The construction on these is just as good as the NB. Toe box is nice and wide. The toe protector comes up over the top of the shoe. On the NBs these started to separate at that spot. These shoes are heavier than the NB. They have padding on the inside near the mouth of the shoe. NBs don't have any which Isn't necessarily a bad thing. The sole is also thicker but doesn't hinder the barefoot feel too much. My only "big" gripe is that the tounge should be sewn in place. I found them to flop to once side or the other.They seem to be a pretty decent shoe considering they are a third of the price of the NBs. Time will tell how well they hold up.

I've tried on a handful of styles of this type of shoe for the purpose of lifting weights in a flat, nearly barefoot — and most especially cool — shoe, and these are a cut above all the rest I've tried, which were all promptly returned.These have a very light and flexible rubber outsole with a very elastic and breathable mesh upper. Because of this there are no weird pressure points anywhere, as is the case with every other ill-fitting analog I've ever tried on. These are just fantastic — comfort, fit, breathability, all A+ as far as I'm concerned.I can't vouch for their durability for the purposes of running because I don't run; I simply dislike the feeling of heavy sneakers when lifting. I would just work out in crew socks if I were allowed to do so in a public gym. If I were to guess, these might last a couple months tops in a rigorous running regime. Then again, a pair of Merrells for $75 or so may get you scarcely more use than this.For my money these might be worth a shot for a runner. I do see a bit lacking in the fusion of the toe cap with the mesh upper, which shouldn't be a problem since, as mentioned, there is a good fit here with a ton of flexibility to eliminate the tension points around the outsole's border which wears out shoes. Almost all sneakers and trainers have historically been ill-shaped to levels of idiocy that are incomprehensible to me, especially Nikes, so the emergence of minimalist and zero-drop shoes in recent years is a good thing.Such a style of shoe isn't meant 'last' I suppose but serve a purpose. It's just important that you get the right size. I for example intended to wear these in black with normal black crew-length socks with a bit of thickness, so I went with 12.5 which is my upper size. This is an outstanding fit and feel as compared with the Converse I'd been wearing for lifting — Converse have really gone to **** over time, and yet they remain $60 or so. But ANYWAY, were I to buy another pair this summer to be worn with the invisible nylon socks I'd probably go down a half size to 12 to prevent heel slippage (I have a slightly shorter right foot). The inclusion of half-sizes is another sign of an excellent shoe product. An additional bonus is the fact these are very easy to slip on and off. I find zero negatives here. As a foot-sweater and a general disliker of weight on the feet, and a wide-foot-haver, these shoes were a great find.

DURABILITY:Like most (I assume), when I see a product like this advertised for 1/3 the cost of name brands, I was skeptical. I assumed these would be inferior quality, and not likely to last for more than a few months. Boy, was I wrong! I've owned these shoes for six months now. I've used them daily for hiking, walking, jogging, and casual wear. I'm very active, and I walk/hike/run 25-30 miles per week; these shoes are as durable as any I've ever owned. All the glued/sewed seams are fully intact, with no signs of separation. In fact, if not for wear on the tread, I could throw them in the washer and they would come out looking brand new.COMFORT:Because of their nature (meant to mimic being barefoot), they take some getting used to. The sole and tread are extremely flexible. This allows your foot to shape itself to whatever surface you're walking on, but it also means no support. If you walk on sharp, gravel rocks you'll feel them. Not painfully (unless you stomp down on it), but you'll know you're walking on sharp rocks, and you're feet will automatically shift to avoid the sharpest. If you step on a stick or a larger rock, your foot will have to bend to the shape. Because I was so used to wearing shoes with stiff soles, my feet initially lacked the strength and flexibility to do so, and they got sore when walking on uneven surfaces such as when trail hiking. After building up the requisite strength, however, I can walk all day long with these shoes. I always thought people who ran barefoot, or with shoes like these were idiots. Not true. These shoes have strengthened my feet enough that I CAN run with them, quite comfortably in fact. I've never thought about the muscles in my feet before, but these shoes will make them a lot stronger.CONCLUSION:For the price, these shoes are an incredible deal. Some have expressed concern about how long they'll last. If you look at the photos you can see the wear on the tread, mainly on the heel and up near the ball of the foot. I walk a lot on a local bike trail, which is paved asphalt. This is probably the worst type of use for shoe tread, so it's not surprising these shoes exhibit tread wear. Based one my experience with other shoes, the amount of wear on these shoes for the type of use is above average. I expect I'll easily get a year's use out of these, which is remarkable for a shoe that sells for 1/3 (or less) of their name-brand competitors. Buy these; you won't be disappointed!

So I needed a new pair of workout shoes at the office. I've been getting back into Crossfit and I didn't want to be limited to my New Balance running shoes. When these shoes popped up, I thought they were a pair of unmarked Merrells but the $32 price point seemed unusual. I bought them anyways to try them out.Delivery arrived a few days sooner than expected so thats a plus. I opened the box and these shoes were in a shrink-wrapped plastic bag. Then I came to realize these shoes were an off-brand that I have never heard of (oran-gine-er?) The design and color scheme is kinda cool but they seem like a cheap, chinese-made knockoff shoe.I also think the term 'minimalist' means different things to different folks. The sole itself is fairly thick rubber that wraps up and over the toes. Kinda looks like a cross of the old Five Finger minimalist shoe and a Merrell Trail Glove. Not many minimalist shoes I have owned have a removable sole insert though. I normally buy size 12 in athletic shoes for expansion but these still feel slightly small just walking around the office and house in them. The heel cup is padded like a pair of basketball shoes. Not saying it wasn't comfortable on my first 30 minute run with them but also a little false advertising. Parts of the upper are made with what feels like a 1mm neoprene. I thought my feet were going to sweat like a whore in church when working out.All-in-all, not a terrible first outing with them. Ran in some uneven terrain but mostly pavement. Didn't feel much of the road on the bottoms of my feet. Toes felt like they were getting a little squished but I'll take them out for a few more rounds. Hopefully these stretch a little. Even though it was 35 degrees out this morning, I was pleasantly surprised that my socks were not drowning in sweat. Finally, sole tread. Though it looks a little aggressive, I would not trust them on slick mornings. That fidget spinner design on the balls of the feet and heel look cool in the pictures but are not really functional for grip.I'll give these shoes the good 'ol college try. If this specific pair don't work out, I'm contemplating on buying a new pair 1/2 size larger since they are dirt cheap for shoes.

Great shoe! Comfortable! Seem to be well constructed. I normally wear between a 12.5 and 13. Ordered the 13 and was like a clown shoe on me. Sent back and ordered the 12.5 and much better fit. Barefoot shoes take a bit to feel comfortable walking in, but once you've passed that point, they're great

Have been wearing these sneaks for about 2 weeks now and they still feel great ….my size 9 n half are true to size… no worry about the fit and the gray/red look great. Don’t hesitate to buy these they won’t disappoint..!!

Literally, the first day of receiving these, so I may update once they’re more worn in. Motivation for buying them was for gym weight training.Please treat this as first impression:Slightly heavier than I expected, but not to any detriment. They feel substantial, so my feeling is they’re a hybrid between barefoot and a running shoe.I have wide feet and I’m really happy with the fit.Zero packaging experience, just literally arrived in a plastic clear sealed bag. The elastic draw laces are thin. Effective, but bit concerned they might fail in time. That said, they have a clever Velcro end to prevent the loose send from flapping.I have size 12 up feet, and I’ve gone for 48’s, which fit really well.I’d say the heel strike isn’t great, but I appreciate that’s kind of the point of barefoot running, that you don’t heel strike.Feels like good integration of fabric to rubber sole.In short, really happy with them. Hoping they serve me well.

Amo mis Oranginer, sobre todo en este color son muy cómodos para caminar, al tener una suela flexible dan bastante retroalimentación sobre el suelo a los pies, la parte frontal del zapato es anda y permite que los dedos de los pies tengan espacio evitando la formación de juanetes y la atrofia progresiva de los dedos del pie. These are minimalist style shoes styled to look like barefoot shoes. They work well for everything except for wet grass, boggy ground, etc. I got a pair that were about my exact foot size and they fit better than another pair I ordered one size up (my "standard" size to avoid buying shoes too small to be wearable). I liked the styling of these better than the competing brand selling an almost identical shoe.If the price is right, a very competent budget shoe. Bought them earlier in the year (when they were cheaper) and have observed no obvious faults with their sturdiness.

I am fond of Merrell's trail gloves, but they tend to be a bit expensive and too colourful. It's getting difficult to find a plain dark coloured one.These are much cheaper, and feel more "barefoot", including the "Vibram 5 finger"-esque look (which I am honestly not too fond of. But they are very comfortable to walk on. They're also better ventilated and feel cooler. They are more cushiony than the Merrell's trail gloves when walking around. I don't run in them, so that's fine. I use them for office work, where I need to sit in an office chair and move it around. The fantastic grip is great for this purpose, as I hate it when I'm trying to push the chair forward and backward while seated and am unable to get a good grip on the floor to do this easily. The fact that the soles curve around the heel and the toebox only makes it better.
