2.0 RPM Auger Motor Replacement Parts for Traeger Pit Boss Camp Chef

Seems to be as good as the OEM that died in my CampChef smoker. (Auger seized due to wet pellets). Easily installed. Ran smoker for a 7 hour smoke today, part on at 180 deg smoke level 8 and and part of the smoke at 350 to caramelize burnt ends. Smoker worked perfectly. I believe the 2 RPM vs the 1.6 RPM OEM motor gives better temperature stability. Will followup review after a few more runs. I use my smoker on an average of 3 times a week.

Appearance and shipping was fine. This is not an American-made product but at 1/3 the cost, I’m willing to give it a try. Will update if things change but for the moment, it works right out of the box and the install is simple... Updating - dead after 2nd cook. You definitely get what you pay for! Past the return window so I'll have to buy a new one somewhere else I guess... Updating further - this is very big to me! After the quick death of my first motor, I reached out to the manufacturer. Did not expect anything but within a day or two I received an email back with an immediate offer to send me a new motor - no questions asked, other than my address. Still somewhat skeptical, I gave them my shipping address and three days later a new motor showed up. It's brand-new and sealed in the box. Have to say I'm very impressed with this service! Initial review was a 4, dropped to a 1 after it failed, now back to a 4 . Ding'd 1 star because it DID fail, but the service was excellent! Good job guys...

Was a good replacement worked as should.

My Traeger Lil' Tex seems like more replacement parts than original at this point. This motor is a direct swap for the old. The mounting screws are not the same as the original; but that doesn't really matter as you just unscrew the bottom two on the new auger motor and attach to the mounting plate. My smoker is back up and running now. See picts.

*Update* Amazon was able to connect me with the seller. After explaining the situation and providing a video, they issued a refund under their 1-year warranty. While the quality was not what I’d hoped, they honoring the warranty, so I have upgraded their rating to 3 stars. After one use, blows the fuse when controller turned on (actually tried two controllers, both with same blown fuse result). The auger moves freely, so that is not the cause. There is no way to contact the seller from their store page, so 1 year warranty can’t be utilized.
