N Ground Throw, Sprung, CAB206S

Did not want to replace some turnouts. It was an inexpensive fix to put these ground throws in to make sure that turnout was either straight or turned. Older turnouts the spring mechanism often leaves the turnout in a middle position. It is a lot of work to remove the switch, reballast the track, etc. SO the lazy man's way to fix a failing turnout is putting in an inexpensive ground throw. It worked brilliantly

stupid, better no switch and use your hands. It's to big for n scale

I'm using these with Atlas turnouts and the throw on them is good. At least for me, they hold the points securely.

The plastic is sturdy, but hard to glue down without using track nails.

This ground throw is entirely out of scale. Its size is perfect for HO scale.
