Rubber Flag Stoppers for LARGE/Standard Size Flags - Set of TWO for Iron Flag Stands

I was hoping the other reviewer just got a bad order, but when I received mine, it was for the small garden flag poles, not the large ones as advertised. The invoice taped around the stoppers even said for LARGE standard flag poles. It even showed the size compared to a quarter on their website. My stoppers could be compared to a a dime. Then when I tried to email the seller through Amazon, it came back saying the sellers' email was refusing mail. Save your money and order from someone else. What a ripoff! At $4.99 it's not worth my time and effort to send them back for a refund. The best I can do is save someone else from losing money to this company. I guess the fact that they are refusing email delivery is a good indication that they don't want to hear your complaints and make things right. This is no reflection on Amazon because I have ordered over a hundred times from Amazon in the last couple of years and only two other times was I unhappy and in one instance the seller made it right and in the other instance Amazon made it right.

This product was not made for putting on iron posts for large garden flags like it said. The flower portion was very small( Typically used for the small garden flags post you might put near your mailbox ) and all he did was drill a bigger hole through the smaller grommet even the hole that was drilled himself with messy . Large flags have wide hymns so this would easily slip right through it and not stop the flag from moving or falling off large garden flag holder.

These stoppers are perfect!! I was confused by some of the reviews I read saying they didn't fit but the description sounded just like what I was looking for. I decided to buy these and give them a try. I had purchased the smaller ones for my small flag stand but needed some for my larger flag stand. The tab inside of my larger flag (28"x40") tore out and I almost lost it. I ordered these to help keep my flag on the stand. They are rubber just like the smaller ones but the center hole it made larger to fit the large diameter flag stand. These work perfectly!! I would highly recommend.

The hole size is fine, but the size of the whole stopper is way too small. It's the same dimension as the stoppers for the small flag poles and does not do enough to keep the flag on the pole. The wind blew the banner flag over to the end where the hook is, and the stopper did not help to keep it on the pole at all, it fell off but fortunately the wind didn't blow it away, it was on the ground. The pockets in the large flags are made for the wooden poles which are much larger than the metal ones. So the stopper didn't help to keep the flag on the pole. I will have to put a seam in the flag to help to keep it from blowing off the pole.

Disappointed. I have a rather large wrought iron pole for my flags and wanted a stopper for it. These were supposed to be for large poles but aren't. I used them on my small ones. Have to keep looking!

Don't waste your money! The flag stoppers do not work. They did not fit over the end of the flag pole so my husband made a larger hole so they would fit. He slid the flag onto the pole and put the stopper on the end. We went out for a few hours and came home to the flag stopper still on the pole and the flag on the ground and it really wasn't a very windy day. I do not recommend this product.

I purchased these through Amazon, and was expecting stoppers for large flags and flagpoles - the ones you hang on your front porch. These are NOT for large flags. These are garden flag-sized, maybe maybe a bit larger. The OUTSIDE(not the HOLE diameter)is the size of a quarter. I should have looked more carefully at the picture.
