I'm confused by the negative reviews on here. These are labeled specifically as shop towels... I feel like that is exactly what they are. The complaints about loose threads, thin, coming apart, product not being as advertised- do we not know what shop towel means?? I also believe the color purchased plays a factor in longevity. Colored fabric will naturally not stand up as well to use due to the stress involved with the dye process, so with cheaper cotton I buy white.I have ordered these 3 different times so far, and I have no complaints. I am able to get multiple uses out of each towel before throwing away (always thrown away due to staining from cleaning, not wear). I use these for everything. As is the case with any thin 100% cotton product- the more you wash them the more absorbent they will be. These will NOT absorb anything directly out of the package, they need to be washed first. If I am able to, I wash them at least twice before I use them. There is a good amount of lint output in the first wash/dry (only seen in the dryer lint screen), but it drops down significantly after that. I have not experienced any lint residue while cleaning or using as napkins. These become fluffier, softer, and the cotton appears more closely knit together with each wash (this cotton is from Pakistan, which is known for having good quality cotton products).If you are looking for towels that are perfectly made and last a long time, you should expect to pay a lot more than what these cost. I paid $35 for 150 towels, which is $.23 each... What exactly are people's expectations from a towel that is less than a quarter dollar?? You get what you pay for, and in my opinion these are well worth the price. Thank you for making such a nice product at an affordable price!! I will continue to buy for my cleaning needs as long as they are available.

We use these as shop towels and for that purpose they are great. They are not soft like bathroom washcloths. They are not absorbent like bathroom washcloths. But they don't have to be because that is not what we use them for. We use them for wiping down equipment and tools and general cleaning and for that they are super economical and perfect for what we needed. Would definitely buy these again.

These rags are great to have laying around. I do not wash or dry them. I will use the same rag over and over until it gets contaminate then I will use it specifically for what it was contaminated with. Of course I use with oil clean up’s and things of that nature as well. I’ll use them then I throw them away. when I run out, I buy more. They are not very thick but they hold up very well, very durable. Use after use after use. I will be ordering more before I run out.

When these arrived, I removed them from the package, confirmed there was no plastic or cardboard, and threw the lot of them in the washer as the brick they were. They put off a LOT of lint in the dryer, but dried reasonably quickly. They aren't all perfectly square, a great many or a bit wonky, and not all of them are perfectly true to the 12x14 size. This doesn't matter to me. I got these to replace most uses of paper towels in my kitchen.I have a box tucked away with these towels stacked neatly inside, and next to it is an old garbage can I use as a hamper for the dirty ones. I use these to mop up liquid spills. Clean up messes that will dirty a dishcloth beyond rinsing clean enough for another use. Spills on the floor. Laying on the counter to dry something that won't fit in my dish drainer. Oiling my wood cutting board and spoons. They have almost entirely replaced paper towels in my kitchen, which was the goal. I believe the only thing I still use paper towels for are the few things that need to be wrapped in the microwave. These were stupid cheap, so I don't have to worry about how I treat them, or if one gets damaged beyond saving here and there like I'd have to with some pricier but prettier and more durable options.They perfectly suit what I wanted. My once a week load of kitchen laundry is now guilt free since it isn't just a literal handful of towels and dishcloths. And I have what amounts to rags for dirty jobs around the house. I'd just highly recommend cleaning the lint trap halfway through drying them after the first wash so you don't burn your house down.

I just bought these for a second time. The first time was in 2020. Our household used these towels for everything from kitchen to pet messes. They work great for cleaning up any kind of mess. What's even better is they're cheap enough that if the mess is too gross, you can just toss them and grab another. These saved a TON of money in not purchasing paper towels, not to mention the savings on the environment.They're not overly soft but they do stand up wonderfully to repeated washes. They do great absorbing liquids. They're also great as scrubbing cloths.

Not even close to the fluffy absorbent towels pictured and only 10" x 10" NOT 12" x 14". More like flimsy handkerchiefs.

About what I expected. Nothing great but they were the cheapest red colored rags I could find. More like 10x12 inches though, so 2 inches smaller than stated.

Excellent shop rags. Cheap enough not to worry about wrecking a few. Will definitely buy again. Thanks!

For the amount of money you spend on these their not worth it.Not 100 percent cottonNot 12x14, their not even square when you unfold them.Not premiumLoose threads.will never buy from this seller again.
