I have to say... this is perhaps the BEST DEAL I have seen in locks for a long time!! I bought TWO of these to put on our liquor cabinets where we had some teen visitors snooping around recently. But these excellent, well-built SOLID locks work perfectly to keep them out, without arguments!! I was a bit concerned about just how BIG the pieces were, and if I was going to be able to spare that much room in the cabinet for the main lock part.... But just rethinking the issue, I put the main lock part on the DOOR instead of on the CABINET itself, and that solved the problem nicely. I guess you can do it either way, but this worked out GREAT! I'm very impressed with the concept of those keys or RFID dongles.. as being either a MASTER or a GUEST card/fob. So only the MASTER can program other fobs as well as open the lock; but the GUEST ones can only OPEN things... can't PROGRAM new ones. I decided to see if I could use some of my other RFID cards or fobs with these locks... Nope. Seems they only work with their own. But that's ok... there are FOUR options... two fobs and two cards with each lock. PLUS, if you prefer, you can progam MULTIPLE locks to respond to the same key fob/card. Excellent! So that's just what I did. I went ahead and programmed two or three fobs to have some extras, but I ahve the MASTER card stored in a safe place because only it can reprogram the other cards. Absolutely nifthy... this is a GREAT SET and a super GREAT DEAL! Reasonably priced. See my video for how it works.

I've done a full review of this lock on YT which you can find by search for the Item ASIN: B083FCHYG3 The lock is VERY strong and works great. My only gripes are the fact that it's difficult to install and judge the placement correctly. It comes with some two sided tape that can use, but in reality, that doesn't place the lock in the best spot and you still need to get it a tiny bit closer. Otherwise this is a fantastic lock for a hidden application. Just don't lose the fob because it will be impossible to open the mechanism if you do.

Hidden in plain sight for my firearm. Great construction but a pain in the rear to install for a novice handyman and homeowner. The templates are useless since I could just simply use the hardware for drill holes but used the cardboard templates anyway. I struggled with lining up both the locking mechanism and the latch where it would close without grinding any metal pieces amongst the spring loaded pins. Are used some old hardwood from some cabinets that I saved that finally came in handy since my cabinet is not flush with the opening door. I’m sure I would get better with practice but found out that I was close to my measurement by simply using the double-sided tape on the locking mechanism while it was locked on the latch and then close the door. And then I opened it with the RFID keychain master card and mounted the locking mechanism box. It still wasn’t perfect so I suggest that since gravity is working against you, slightly move the locking box an eighth or a quarter of an inch in the opposite direction; in my case, upwards since I have a vertically opening door. IMPORTANT: Will not self-open door with basic hardware. Mind you, I even wanted to install a cheap gas strut or spring-loaded push latch so it would open when I would swipe the RF ID card. The lock is spring loaded so any tension against the door or locking mechanism WILL NOT allow the door to open unless you push it to release the internal springs of the locking mechanism. After through some troubleshooting of installation, the unit works flawlessly with both the 2 keychains and the 3 RFID cards. I even ordered a 13.56 MHZ metal ring for the fun of it for sleekness to open the cabinet since there’s a locking box can program several other RFID cards. You won’t be disappointed. It seems like a lot of the reviews and Q&A are mixed between multiple sellers that sell this RFID lock kit. Even different brands. I purchased the Homello brand one and it did not come with any instructions or template. I was unable to find anything specific online for programming instructions, and I could not find any videos specific to this on YouTube as well. I did reach out to the seller and received no response, so here’s what worked for programming this particular one. It will only program up to two keys and it doesn’t matter if you program a master card or any user cards, the lock only seems to remember 2 cards at any time. The kit I bought came with three cards and two keychain tags. The cards will read a couple inches away. The key tags are weaker and only read if they are just about touching the lock. If you have to mount this behind anything, I would be very careful as the key tags might not be strong enough to send a signal to the lock. I have tried several programming “options” based on other user reviews, or similar YouTube videos, however none of them seem to be this exact model and they do vary slightly. For this one, to program it, keep all cards away from it, press the reset button on the back of the unit until it beeps. Release the reset button. Bring the first card/tag that you want to program over to the card reading area and it will beep twice. Then move that card away and bring your second card/tag over to that area until it beeps twice. That’s it. I’ve tried holding the reset button longer, it makes different beeps, but doesn’t change the programming. I’ve tied three cards and two tags in carious conditions and speeds trying to program more than two and it never works. I’ve tried the master card, then immediately adding a new user card, that doesn’t work either. If you can get it to work with more than two cards, please post something. I’ve read the first several pages of reviews and searched reviews and there nothing regarding programming. The lock also makes a very weird grinding noise when unlocking. It’s probably some type of gear unlocking device. After all the programming problems, and with the noise it’s making, I will be returning this and I’ll try a different one hoping for different results. As much as I wanted the cheap one to work, I may purchase one of the more expensive pre-programmed ones.

It’s hard to program the keys. If you use the manager key it deletes the user keys.

The lock was easy to install and program. It did everything the manfacture said it would do. Great product!

The lock is ok but the only one key card is working so please let me know how to aline the the other key cars to the lock please let me know

The product itself works without any problems; however the seller - Navkar systems - is unreliable. The first time I ordered, the package went back from final delivery station, and I got a report of 'undeliverable'. I don't know what the problem was. The second time I ordered, I got the lock, but there were several items missing. The instruction booklet, the two sided tape and the USB cable was missing. There was no response from the seller in spite of multiple attempts. By referring to youtube videos and other reviews, I was able to setup the cards. It works through an 20mm ply sheet plus laminate without any problems. The alignment was tricky, but not impossible. I cannot yet vouch for the battery life, as I have just installed it. So far I'm happy with the product, but the experience was marred due to the sloppy vendor. Will update later when I have used it for a while
