I come across this book in the moment which I am getting ready for the greatest event of my life, my marriage. I was wondering what must I do to become a good husband? And miraculously this book gives me all what I need for my marriage to work well. Being a husband on purpose is what i choose to be for my beautiful wife.I strongly recommend this book. It will help making so many difference in your life as man, dad, and also as husband.

I bought this book for my husband for Christmas. He was upset at first but after explaining my intentions, it was better received. My husband has ASD (autism spectrum disorder/Aspergers) and often seeks out a mentor or example for how things should be done in life. Many of us take that inherent, intuitive approach for granted. After reading this book his outlook on his role in this relationship changed. He identified some areas that he could work on (primarily, his negative attitude) and so far (at least 3 weeks and counting now) he has been able to maintain some semblance of positive. This has transformed our relationship. I cannot say that it will continue indefinitely (I may request he read it again if the overwhelming negativity sets in again) but I can say for someone that has the desire to be the best version of themselves in their marriage or romantic relationship, this book will be beneficial.I have not read the book. My husband has only shared with me a glimpse of what he read, but I am more than pleased to have purchased it. He read it in just a couple of days.

A must read for every man that wants his wife to feel loved. Even if you think you know you owe it to your wife to read his book. Your wife may be speaking a different love language that you are not even aware of. You might think she is happy however, after reading this book you will know without a doubt that she is happy. This book is a crash course on learning your wife’s love language. My only regret is that I did not know about this book when it first came out.

Becoming a better man to build the best possible marriage is an important point for me. Also, focusing on just one thing for 1% through one day gives clarity for your one life with one wife to have the one and only marriage we can.

I think we're living in an age where anyone can publish anything these days, and this book is a good example of that very thing. While following much of the advice in the book would most definitely improve someone's marital situation, which is the author's obvious and commendable intent, the delivery is very poor. Looking at the publishing company, it became evident quickly that this is something which really could use some more quality control. The ideas of the book are sound, but lacking in depth, flow, and any discernible organizational pattern.From what I could discern, this author is likely succeeding in his marriage and making an effort to engage other men to do the same. I heartily commend the effort and can sense enthusiasm through out this very brief book.I would encourage Mr. Deas to enlist the help and oversight of a publishing company (or a discerning peer) to examine the structure of the arguments being made, the depth, and takeaway that the reader is left with.I fear that this treatise was so poorly organized that its content will come off as cliche and forgettable, when in reality, the advice is worth taking.Presentation matters, as does this subject matter. This could have been much better.

Outstanding book! I’ve been married for 13 years and I thought I was doing pretty well, relative to everyone else, anyway. After reading Husband on Purpose (I had the opportunity to reading an early version of the manuscript), I realized how much I had been falling short…how much more I could and should be doing.The best part is that Conrad shares very simple action steps to begin making progress toward- better communication with my wife- better self-discipline- personal growth (upon which to build interpersonal harmony)- spousal mind-reading and- a more fulfilling marriage and life.Husband on Purpose gets my highest recommendation

I've got to hand it to the author, he did a great job of entertaining me all the way through. This might be my third book on the subject and the other two were very drole and went on and on and on....(see what I did there). These previous books just rehashed the same information but with different words.I was pleasantly surprised that this author didn't do that. Instead he kept it fun and at a good tempo, while also cover things I hadn't really come across but fully understand as being critical.

I thought this was basic and repetitive. Didn't get anything out of it really.
