Real Ease Neck and Shoulder Relaxer

i have indeed mostly used this on my bed, although it is not recommended it works reallyt good to stretch out my neck and cradle my head. As a cranial therapist, this fits very well in the occipital region and allows the flow to happen. it also helps with tight muscles from those who grind teeth and mid thoracic stretch does occur as you release and the cranium realigns. it has been helpful for me and i keep it by the bed. but it is not going to be for everyone, i have a fairly short neck and this works well, if you have a long neck or wide base of your head this may not be such a good thing, use something else like the still point tool. if this review is helpful to you please add a thumbs up for me.

I did not find the product helpful. It was uncomfortable. Biggest issue is that it says prime and it is not returnable. I have never ordered anything that was marked as prime and had no option to return. Be careful, because I did not see anything about no return options when I ordered it. Bummer.

I was extremely skeptical because of the reviews stating it was cheap plastic and cheaply made. I did not purchase this item to relax for 10-1 minutes a day. I purchased it to attempt to sleep on my back. I needed something that would cradle my neck and not allow me to roll over on to my side. With one modification (adding an aluminum plate), it works perfect! I absolutely love this product. I would disagree that the product is cheaply made. I have no doubt that this will last me many years. I can't sleep without it now. It is very comfortable and does feel like you're floating. I've shown this product to all my friends and family that have neck issues or relaxing issues! I also showed my chiropractor and she tried it and loved it! Highly recommend as it has been a life saver for my neck and shoulder pain.

I believe the Neck and Shoulder Relaxer is helping with the neck range of motion and with the shoulder spasms. I am giving a 4 because I tried so many things in the past which help for a while and then I get the debilitating pain again. For sure the pain has been reduced from an 8 to a 5, and I have better grip and regain strength on my left side.One thing I notice is that my shoulders are not so contracted and have fallen in place. It gives me a sensation of having a more elongated normal size neck again. I will update this review if it can help anyone else, good health is so important to have a happy, functional life.

This product actually pushes the head and neck forward in a way that accentuates the problem rather than fixes it. I hoped that this would release the pressure on the vertebrae caused from having my neck forward on electronic devices and books. It just exacerbates the issue. Beware! This product can not be returned via Amazon.

Pretty crummy product. I got this because I suffer from chronic neck pain and migraines, and read on a migraine forum that this was a great product but for me it hurt my neck a lot, and there was not a lot of padding to let me comfortably rest on the product without my neck being gouged by the metal. It hurt more than it helped and so I don't use it.

I've been using this for years - this is my second one. It does seem to release the muscles. Only takes about 5-8 minutes to work. I highly recommend it. I'm 66 and I have 3 bulging discs in my neck. Most of the time they don't bother me too much, but when they do, this helps a lot! When I first triggered the disc problem in my neck about 1999 or 2000, it pinched a nerve. The only thing that stopped the severe pain was traction at the PT's office. This Real-Ease device seems to mimic that in a very gentle way. I've tried other traction devices, but they've always seemed to overdo it and end up making my discomfort worse. This one is very gentle. Highly recommended. If you have a pinched nerve in your neck, go to a PT and get traction. Then after traction there, get this device. Good Luck

I suppose a rolled up towel would work as well and I did have to use a flat board (3/4" thick) to get mine to the right height for use on a carpet. I suppose the construction quality could also be better (e.g., a higher density and higher quality foam.) Having said that, this product has done wonders for relieving my chronic neck stress, which is the result of decades worth of stress and weight lifting. Be certain to use it at least 15 minutes once a day for five days a week. You'll begin to notice a real improvement within three weeks. Continue use thereafter.
