Made from a thick, durable canvas material, bright colors! It is a bit of a rough material, but that is ok because then maybe the kiddo won't want to lay/sleep on it.I didn't pay very close to the description, so I was expecting a throw pillow, not just a case. Glad we could use the one already from his old set and just cover it. Will be nice to be able to wash.
