✨ Elevate Your Prints to a New Level of Shine! ✨
The Silk Copper PLA Filament is a premium 1.75 mm 3D printing material that delivers a shiny, metallic finish without the need for polishing. Weighing 1KG (2.2LBS), it is compatible with most FDM 3D printers and operates optimally at extrusion temperatures of 195-210°C. With a recommended print speed of 30-45mm/s and a hot bed temperature of about 60°C, this filament ensures high-quality results backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Very good filament- No problems for me
I really like this filament. It looks very close to real copper. I did not have any problems with tangling or breaking. I just purchased some more and will definitely be buying again. Check out the print quality in the pictures I posted. Looks amazing. Highly recommended!

Color is great but it messes up easily
Silk filament messes up so easily. This one was especially hard to accommodate for. If you start having layers that seem like they aren’t sticking, increase the temperature by about 10 and lower the retraction distance by a lot. I turned my retraction off but that’s not always an option

Fantastic prints
I've used the copper, gold and silver colored filaments and all of them look fantastic. Can be a little tricky getting the adhesion but once you have it then prepare for great looking prints.

Phew! No stench!
I feel copper colored filament makes for the most attractive "metal looking" FDM 3D prints when compared to other filaments that mimic metal, such as silver or gold. The problem is, about half of the copper colored filaments I've tried from different manufacturers release horrible odors during the printing process!I am happy to say this filament is one that does not stink. It's being run through my Artillery Sidewinder X1, which is off to my right as I'm writing this review. I've also been sitting at my laptop with the printer running for just over a half hour, and I haven't smelled any odors!I haven't used much of this filament, but I haven't had any issues with it yet. No clogging, prints have stuck well to the build plate, and layers adhere well to themselves. I do run silk PLA at higher temperatures in the hot end than standard PLA. I have three different 3D printers, and as a rough rule of thumb, I run PLA on all of them at 200 Celsius, +/- 10 degrees C. With silk PLA, I run it at around 225-230 C, again +/- 10 degrees C. For build plate temperatures, I only run the silk filament a few degrees hotter or at the same temperature as standard PLA.These temperatures are what's worked best for me. Your mileage may vary depending on your printer, environment, and so on.If I encounter problems with this filament, I'll update this review. But as of right now, I'm happy with this filament and would buy it again if I need more silk copper colored filament.

Excellent combination of price and quality.
I'm a beginner in 3D printing, and this was my first roll of "silk" PLA. Thus far, it's worked excellently, with consistent print quality across multiple projects, all on the Ender 3 V2 with glass bed. After testing, this copper PLA seems to work best with a hot-end temp at 200-210C, which seems normal for PLA. The biggest stumbling point was still minor - an adhesion problem with the glass bed that was solved at 68-69C for small prints, and 67C or less for prints with a sufficiently large first-layer surface area (69-70 will cause minor elephants-foot the print; less than 65C will make the corners lift up in large prints).

Incredible PLA
Definitely some of my favorite filament!

Tangled on Spool
Did a few simple prints and the color and shine is really nice. I printed toward the low end of the recommended temperature range (200C) and it bridges well too. One minor complaint is that it seems to print a bit fat, meaning that a thin 2mm wall that would have a small gap with regular PLA ends up looking like 100% infill with this filament. Another minor complaint is that it is more brittle than regular PLA. But my big complaint is that I have had multiple instances in which the filament is jammed against the end of the spool and has a hard time unspooling, and in one case I had to stop the print and untangle the roll (it was literally wrapped under itself and I had to cut it and fish it through). Very disappointing, and for that reason I don't think I'd buy it again.

Great quality but inconsistent
Let's keep it short and sweet. The prints come out beautifully. Copper is definitely my favourite colour to 3D print with. The problem is that every time a print finishes, it clogs the bowden tube. I have to take apart the extruder motor and remove the clogged end and then put it back together. If you have the patience to do this every time then you will find beautiful prints. If you'd rather not deal with it there are other brands that do copper coloured PLA.
