Burt's Beesfor Dogs Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner with Colloidal Oat Flour Honey For Pet

My dog has very sensitive skin. This is the only shampoo and conditioner her skin will allow. Love the scent too!

My dog loves bath time when I use this...the honeysuckle leaves him smelling so good and itch free.

I used this set for my fawn Doberman, and it was soft on his skin. I see people complaining that the shampoo doesn't lather much, and this is true. Shampoo actually does not naturally lather. Things like sulfate are added to get that effect and they are actually not very good for sensitive skin because they dry it out, so it makes sense there wouldn't be a lot in a shampoo that is supposed to be mild. This Burt's Bees Oatmeal combo worked well for us, and my usually wiry furred gentle-dog was soft as a spring bunny.

Price isn’t to bad but could be better. It is very watery and tend to loose most of it as it runs off your hand and or dog before you can get it lathered on. But it does seem to work well and my dog doesn’t scratch after almost at all. Also leaves her very soft. There is no scent at all, which I kinda would like there to be in the container at least.

The product was general of my dogs skin yet leaves a great smell and cleans effectively!

I had used the shampoo/conditioner from Wahl for years. Loved it but they stopped carrying the fragrance I liked. I gave this set a go and I can’t fathom how hard it was to bathe my collie. I felt like I had to use half the bottle to get any sort of bubbly texture. I didn’t smell a fragrance either. I would recommend this for smaller breeds with less hair

Burts bees is the best. I like that it's shampoo and conditioner together. Always makes my little guy selll great and feel very soft.

I've used Burt's Bees various shampoos for my standard poodle since she was 9 weeks old. She loves water and gets bathed weekly and as needed. This formulation may seem "runny" (from other reviewers' comments) but a little goes a long way and reduces the time and energy needed to completely rinse a double coat. Also since I'm bathing her more than just monthly, I appreciate the gentleness and the low scent (dogs prefer low to no scent too!)
