Very Good Antenna for Cord Cutters
I bought this flat antenna after cutting the cord due to Comcast's repeated price increases. Clearstream has very good reviews from a variety of independent YouTube channels. It was easy to set up and works very well. The antenna came with an amplifier, but the reception is so good from our second floor bedroom it immediately picked up over 80 OTA channels on the first scan (I have it attached to the wall with the included adhesive strip about 6 feet up behind the TV). Unfortunately many of them are shopping, religious, and duplicates we don't need, so we actually only use about 35 channels. We live on the eastern edge of the Denver area, with OTA broadcast antennas located about 30 miles away in the foothills of the Rocky mountains.I have the antenna connected to a dual-channel Tablo DVR with a WD portable hard drive for OTA recording. The DVR is hard-wired to our Wi-Fi router in our upstairs bedroom. Both our televisions are connected to the system via the Tablo Roku app, and both have crystal clear reception from the antenna. If you're tired of being gouged by cable, I believe this antenna is a good place to start the cord-cutting process.

Put old antenna back on.
I expected a marked improvement over the flat antenna I have been using. I assembled and mounted as instructed. The materials are much flimsier than my previous antenna. This antenna is as flimsy. This antenna provided much poorer reception than the $25 dollar unit I tried to replace it with. The preamp did nothing. I guess you live and learn. It's about time I quit falling for hype.

One of the best out there and we have tried many!
So my folks are seniors in a senior living center.Even being upscale they have issues getting good cable with affordable service.Since they can not try satellite for mounting issues, we sent them this antenna after testing many. They get 29 stations and are not even in the main zone for UHF or DIGITAL in their area!Their picture is as good as cable and they set it up themselves! If you are a senior buying this, you will have terrific customer service if you need help.It took our parents 10 minutes to set up. The only thing a senior will need help with is doing a full auto search for the channels they get after it is set up.It worked just as well on a wall as it did a window. It is that good!

Exceeded my expectations
My house is situated in a soup bowl surrounded with 40' to 60' tall trees. I hung the antenna in back of the tv & did a channel search. A total of 59 channels that were found during a snow & rain storm, approx. 40 of the 59 channels were clear with no pixelation. The TV stations for the other 19 channels were too far away to receive a decent picture (audio in & out/picture pixelated.I live 45 miles south of Boston & 20 miles North of Providence, R.I. I must say, for an indoor antenna I am very satisfied with the results. Many channels are in HD & just as clear as cable. What have you have to lose, if the antenna doesn't work to you satisfaction, you can always return it. :-)

Surprising good reception with indoor mounting.
I like everything. I research OTA antennas and this came up well recommended. My towers are 20 miles away but I live in a bit a depresion, have a ranch and trees and a hill are between my house and the towers.I put it in my 1rst floor bedroom window with scotch tape. I put the amplified on the line and don't need it. The Amp only boosts the signal strength from the antenna to the receiver through the cable. It does not amplify the reception.I get every local channel at full HD and strength. 5 minutes to stick on the window and connect the cables.Very impressed.

It works
First $20 something antenna got six channels none of which were vhf and did not say so in description. This antenna I had installed in 10 minutes. IT GETS 50 CHANNELS. Love it. It took 10 minutes to install since I had to read how to put the amplifier on to the line. I get abc, nbc, fox, and cbs plus lots of other never seen before by me channels. Again it proves that most times, you get what you pay for.

What a Waste of time and Money
This sucked. I got 2 channels with this. It was easy to install, but there was ZERO payoff. 2 channels? That's not worth $50 in my opinion. I sent it back and the company refunded my money with no problems, So I gotta say I was happy for that, but the product was useless for me.

Buy with confidence
Upon doing a little bit of research, I ended up purchasing this Clearstream Amplified TV Antenna (Flex). I also purchased HDhomerun since I wanted to watch TV around my home without running too many cables from one place to the other. I followed the instructions and after finding a cool spot for the antenna (wall right by my window), I ran the auto channel search on my smart tv and it showed 71 channels including HD. A few of the channels (maybe 3 or 4) were repetition. Therefore, the channels I got is at least 67. The signal is quite strong and all the channels are clear. The HD channels are sharp and very crisp. The combination of this flex antenna and HDhomerun has made it possible to watch tv around my home without cables everywhere. I love this tv antenna and would recommend using it by itself or with HDhomerun if you want to watch tv in your home through your wifi. The advantage of this over the HDhomerun is that the channels doesn't get cut off as a result of internet service slow down. However, the HDhomerun makes it possible to watch tv around your home without running several cables across your home like this one.I recommend this product and encourage you to buy with confidence because it really works.
