Following inputs written on Jan 19, 2020:I bought both Print Edition and Amazon Kindle Fire Edition of this book.Following notes are regarding May 2019 hardcopy edition of this book:1. Some R programs from this book are not working2. Authors need to ensure all programs from this book are working3. Authors need to create a pdf file with information about various versions of software tools they have used for R, RStudio, tensorflow, Mxnet etc and post this pdf file and updated working R programs to Github webpage please.4. R program on page 232 of Chapter 8 is giving "cublas64-100.dll not found" error at the following R program code line: model %>% fit4a. Authors need to fix such program errors and post updated programs to Github webpage please. Thanks4b. If authors can zip "cublas64-100.dll" file and post on the Github web page of this book, that may quickly fix the error of page 232, R language program please.5. Some programs in Chapter 5 are also not working. Thanks

Problems with code examples
This book contains R code which doesn’t run properly. Writing this in 2021, there are issues with the latest R version and the mxnet application recommended in the book. The programming is often chunky and wet. Datasets are not described properly which really limits the understanding of the examples. Personally, I also miss some more thorough explanations, this book claims to be for beginners after all. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this book.

This is probably the worst book on ML I've ever come across
This is probably the worst book on ML I've ever come across. It seems like a bunch of amateurs threw together some code and it went right into print. The typesetting of the book is totally unprofessional, the amount of typos is staggering, the pedagogical value of this book is doubtful. Most of the time one is battling with errors in their code, searching for data sets on the net, or trying to understand what they are doing, as the comment function in R seems to be something the authors never have heard of. I'm a seasoned (R) programmer and rule number one is to comment extensively on what is done in the code. One would think this applies especially in a teaching book that holds the word 'Beginners' in the title.I can absolutely NOT recommend this book, give its relatively high price it is definitely not worth the money.
