This refrigerator control board is a 3rd-party copy of the OEM Jazz Controller board, at less than one-quarter the cost. After viewing an online video, I installed the new board and programmed it to our refrigerator in less than 20 minutes. My refrigerator and freezer now work perfectly well, and I saved a ton of money on the part, as well as the originally-planned visit by an appliance repair man!

I was hesitant to buy this based on price compared to OEM and lack of reviews, but I figured for less than $40 I’d take a chance because I needed my fridge back up and running ASAP.Yes, it’s an after market part. No, it is not OEM. But come on, it’s $40. What do you expect for that price? All that matters is the product works, which it does! If your problem isn’t the control board, then obviously it’s not going to fix your fridge. Knocking them down for that doesn’t help anyone make an informed decision.And yeah, you do have to “break” it apart along a seam on the board, but that’s the case with any brand of this part, even if you buy OEM.I’m glad I took the plunge. It took me literally minutes to install, I programmed it, and my fridge started up immediately. Save yourself the high cost of a repairman, do some research, and you’ll be good to go.

My freezer was icing up causing the refrigerator fan to stop working. This replacement was recommended on a web search. It Was installed within minutes and fridge has worked great for about 3 months now.

My Whirlpool Refrigerator with Bottom Mounted Freezer WRB322DMBB00 set off my high temperature alarm at 3:20 am Thanksgiving morning (as always). After 2 hours of diagnostics I found everything worked, but little airflow was entering the fridge. I did not look to see if the freezer coil (evaporator) was iced over before running the forced defrost. I ran the forced defrost twice, then the fridge worked normally. I did discover the motor capacitor is out of spec, but it still ran OK.After much online research I discovered this is a know frequent problem with this model fridge. The control board is known to die in 2-5 years intervals. If everything works and the freezer is cold and the evap is iced over and the fridge isn't cold then the control board defrost relay/circuit has died. Running a long forced defrost will save you a few days until the new board arrives. Instructions are available on the internet.I bought this Lucky Seven board thinking it was a Jazz board. From the price ~40 vs ~200 I figured it likely was aftermarket. It arrived in a beat up anti-static bag inside a poly bag. The freezer down switch was out of place, but I was able to realign it. Installation took about 5 minutes. The board must be broken into two pieces. The display portion is a tight fit into the holder. Mine worked immediately and instructions were included for programming, which is very easy.Overall, it is a great value if it works for more than a year. I may buy another to have as backup. If it breaks early, then I will update.

This inexpensive unit was fairly easy to install - any difficulties had to do with getting to where it was to be installed and then putting everything back together, but the instructions found on U-Tube were helpful. It has totally solved the problem I was having with the freezer coils icing over and the refrigerator section getting too warm. Saved me several hundred bucks on a service call!

This seems to have fixed my issues with a warm fridge/cold freezer on a Frigidaire french door unit. While this board is not OEM, it fits the specs and installs in about 10 minutes. Now the fridge is icy cold! I'll update in a few months to verify.

Works, but you do have to program it for your specific appliance.

Worked well to repair defrost cycle to Maytag fridge for about 6 weeks. Was a low cost replacement however in order to give a new life expectancy to refrigerator I was expecting it would last at least a few years not a few weeks. Being electronics I may have just got a random bad one.I will need to track down another one as I have replaced the defrost element and thermostat and all check out ok.Fridge was well made and run on original jazz board for many years.
