Really unfortunate, we liked this but it completely stopped working after about 4 months, so we paid the shipping fee for a replacement, which only worked for about 2 months... they wanted us to pay a shipping fee again but I'm not going to keep paying $10 every couple of months. Trying a different brand.

I absolutely love it. When I showed it to my husband on Amazon he said “$80 for a garbage can????” But even he now loves it. No more worrying about having meat germs on my hands and touching a lid. No smells come out of it at all (although when the lid comes up you can get a whiff.). The wheels let me move it from sink to island when needed and the stay open button gives me time to peel veggies without it closing on me. It is very responsive to just a hand waive.I love it so much I bought one for my sister, and her adult son ordered one too.

Where ever I'm doing food preparation in the kitchen, I just wheel the trash can nearby and it's easy to keep my counter clear. I do find that sometimes just walking past the can trigger the sensor to open and I can live with that. Regarding the order elimination, I find whatever you put in the can is the culprit and no amount of charcoal will compensate for that. I try to put fish in a addition bag before putting it in the trash can. I wish the wheels rolled a bit easier.

This trash can checked all of the boxes for us. Size. Check. Wheels. Check. Motion Detection… Almost Check. I’ve gone through 8 D batteries in a week and a wasted dc adapter that I bought for it. We’ve resorted to using the manual lift, which is not what I paid for. Not sure if we got a lemon or this product is just faulty…

My food-obsessed Labrador tried to get in to this garbage can, but it rolled away from her, and down the hallway. That's the last time she tried. A perfect solution for anyone who's had to clean up garbage strewn across the kitchen. Love the look as well. The motion feature works perfectly and it's easy to use. I'm ordering one for my recycling now so I can take my current recycling bin off the kitchen counter!

I like everything about this itouchless waste receptacle. I purchased for kitchen use, has an odor filter. Uses regular 13 gallon Kirkland trash bags. Glad I purchased with the wheels which smoothly move about and also lock in place. Long life using 4 D batteries but I plan to purchase the adapter for green use ( no special battery recycling to consider).

I realllly like this garbage can; with the wheels and sensor lid I can't find anything I don't like about it. I did have some problems getting the sensor to work,,, you could say operator error but the new fully charged 'D' batteries wouldn't work - not charged as advertised after all. After fully charging the batteries all work well. So I'm a happy camper in my studio apartment and my can fits anywhere and can be moved when necessary.

I bought this trashcan without wheels and then bought the model with wheels. It works well. However, the wheels are sluggish and get stuck often. I really wish they were better!
