81158 Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant, 3 oz. Tube, Pack of 1

I read the comments first before purchasing and they were not lying ! So my weather strip on my car both driver side and passenger door start peeling off. I should have made a video so yall can see that this stuff actually works ! Last night it rained and I applied this product before it rained. And guess what I came out side to look inside my car to see if rain got in there ! And yall no rain made it inside my car ! Not even a single drop ! The tackiness is 10/10 ! Yes it’s heat resistant and a cheap fix for fixing your door seals. Now make sure y’all before when squeezing the product out because it can be a little messy , if you’re not careful. But other than that 10/10 so glad I brought this ! No odor smell to it at all and dries fast.

Been using Permatex for several decades and this is my go to brand for most if not all automotive sealants and adhesive. This stuff works great for attaching a carbon fiber cover on my mobile antenna. It takes about an hour to lose it's tackiness and about 24 hours to be fully cured. Also keep in mind this black adhesive is messing especially when it gets on your fingers and hands. Just use WD-40 on a terry cloth to clean your hands and all of the black adhesive should comes off with little fuss. This stuff works great and it's been over 24 hours and there's no leaks even with the past two day it's been raining pretty heavy. The for money, it's great stuff to fix and repair or to fill in gaps and holes on many surfaces.

Permatex is a well-known, trustworthy brand. This is RTV. Nothing complicated & does what it should. However, the packaging is weak and if you are a man with a man's grip, be careful. The tube will break & the RTV will be all over your hands rather than on the work space.

Good product bit messy but does a good job

I was replacing all the weatherstripping in my 56 year old Buick muscle car. This was a good adhesive to seal the ends that fit under the door panels. More than enough to do both doors.

It's pretty much the gold standard of RTV sealants. I've been using it for many years and it has never let me down. Just make sure the mating surfaces are clean and oil free so it can make a good bond. Brake cleaner works well for cleaning and degreasing prior to assembly.

This stuff is NOT the same as Shoe Goo. For a while now I've been almost resoling some back soled shoes (they're no longer made) with Shoe Goo as I have over pronation and the back side of the heel wears out fast. I often would rebuild the heel with SG, then during the first walk it would sort of sand itself back to smooth and blend right in. Foolishly, I tried doing the same thing with this stuff and it behaved very differently. Where SG is more like liquid rubber, this stuff is more just like black caulking. So it rebuild my heel but rather then sort of sanding down like a normal shoe sole (or SG) it instead just sort of tears away and rips. It still sticks to your shoe (so far anyway) but it will forever look messy. I learned my lesson here, as is often true, you get what you pay for. Back to Shoe Goo I go. I'm sure this stuff is great for other things, but I would strongly not recommend it for shoes. FWIW, I don't think they do either but I saw a reviewer or two here who did. There were some parts of the shoe where the sole was pulling away and I tried to sort of glue those spots like I do with SG and it sadly failed there too.

グリルマーカーを付けるためにグリルに穴あけをして裏側の配線ごと接着、防水シーリングとして使用。一晩放置で完全に固まって3ヶ月経ってもグラ付きは無いです。効果は文句無し。ただチューブ製なので作業しているとやがて手が真っ黒になって洗い落とすのが大変になるので手袋が必須です。

No es exageración. Un apretón (de acuerdo a las instrucciones y si no puedes ver algún video tutorial por si dudas de cómo aplicarlo, yo dudé) y comienza la magia. Es un polvito negro muy fino por lo que guantes o una limpieza de manos a conciencia es recomendable. Las chapas y cerraduras con problemas de que la llave no entra a la primera, se debe aplicar fuerza o rechina simplemente comienzan a desaparecer al paso de la primer aplicación. Yo juegué un poco con las llaves (meter, sacar, meter, sacar, girar) un par de veces para que el polvo comience a esparcirse. EXCELENTE AHORA! Con el paso de los días (creo porque se va distribuyendo mejor) su funcionamiento se vuelve mejor. Sigan las instrucciones y contraindicaciones ya que parece un artículo fácil pero requiere de su atención. Volveré a comprar sin dudarlo. Lo combiné con un lubricante de litio que también compré en Amazon y la verdad hasta gusto me da abrir mis puertas!
