Starsky & Hutch (Widescreen Edition)

I absolutely love this movie which I already have but is scratched so I bought this one , on sale, new, sold by Amazon .Many, many parts scenes were edited. It was not as good as the regular HBO /SHO/max version I have also.I don’t know why. It made the movie really lousy and boring.I agree with the LGBTQ scene. They could have removed the porn and added one of the nicer , friendlier scenes.I give one star for THIS PARTICULAR DVD THAT I PURCHASED; as for the movie -the long, regular version is def a winner! Hysterical!I’m a fan of both actors, they work great together. Good movie ; just not the one I bought.

The more time has passed and the more times I’ve watched this movie the more I like it. There are just so many memorable moments in this film from Ben Stiller getting into a debate with Snoop Dogg’s henchmen about punishment fitting the crime to Stiller and Wilson being attacked by a small Korean boy to Stiller’s dance off in a disco. There was just a lot to like and appreciate about the Starsky & Hutch.

Watched this every week and my nephew loved it and imitated Starsky for years; he was maybe 10 yrs old. Now his brewery has been in the worlds top 100 over 10 yrs running. He is still a look alike and imitates. Amazing to see this again. The Gran Torino was imitated by numerous owners. This was a BIG popular series that took away viewers of Man from U.N.C.L.E. Umited Network Command..Law Enforcement and It Takes a Theif - 2 other popular series until Starsky & Hutch. See HoppinFrog dot com for the look-a-like. He had the sunglasses and all, and everyone seemed to notice the look-a-like and was offend approached and mentioned by strangers. The show was POLULAR.

Funny movie, not exactly Academy awards level acting or plot though.

I loved it. Anyone who grew up watching Starsky and Hutch will appreciate the era represented and especially all the great old school music played throughout the movie. The characters were meant to be somewhat slapstick, not in form with the original series which was about 2 cool detectives, but imo it works perfectly. A few spots will make you burst out laughing, and the icing on the cake (with no spoilers) was at the very end of the movie when you look up and go, "oh my god!".. again, no spoilers. I'm sure I'll watch this again. Well edited directed and written, and they picked the perfect actors to play Starsky and Hutch... and Huggy Bear.

It's a cute movie with a lot of good music and the real Starsky and Hutch show up, also. You don't want to miss that. You have a drug sniffing dog and bar mitzvoh and two cops who are not very good at their job, but things change,for the better.

This is Snoop Dog's best role and he plays it just right. Will Ferrell does an excellent job in a supporting role. Carmen Elektra is on fire. Of course, Ben Stiller and Chris play to their comedic potential. Bringing in the original Starsky and Hutch adds a nostalgic touch. Excellent movie for repeat views.

I've seen it a dozen times and I still laugh my !?@ off every time

Bought this film to replace my old dvd copy for the bluray version, Now bluray disks are becoming more affordable I'm replacing my all time favourite movies to bluray, The movie is fine and the enhanced audio is great but maybe I should have checked the screen ratio as this version is in letterbox and not full screen like my older dvd version but still one of my favourites

Arrived on time, unlike the Rise of the foot solider dvd 😏It was in excellent working order, just as all our other DVD's have been, hence why I'll continue to keep ordering from the 'new and used'.

My sister asked if I would like to watch Starsky and Hutch with her. I thought 'No' as my mind went back to the TV series. Well I did watch it and would definitely recommend it as highly enjoyable, light hearted, fun. Loved it.

Bargain dvd. Good film. Bit saucy in parts for Christian audiences, Ned Flanders glasses would steam up twice. Funny film tho. Great soundtrack.

Great condition steelbook nice and packaged carefully however dint realise the cover on the back was in another language but really great thoe if this doesn't put you off then this steelbooks for you
