WESTEND Crossbody Sling Small Bag Travel Hiking Chest Bag Daypack

I needed something in between a crossbody and a backpack for light outdoor activity. It is a "purse" when slung to the back and a when slung to the front it provided easy access to my bird identification material, lip balm, reading glasses, water, etc. The zippers seem fine to me. The strap is a little harsh on the neck but a collar or added pad makes it fine. The main compartment is roomy enough for essentials and a small water bottle. Happy with my purchase.

We bought this for a vacation and it was the perfect size. Held my wallet, cell phone and some other small items. Outside material is sturdy. We did have to exchange the first one after we got back from our trip, as the pocket lining tore on the second day. We liked it enough to give the bag a second chance.

I have purchased 2 of these purses. They rip at the seams easily. I don’t have a lot in my purse either. Good price. Perfect size. Just doesn’t hold up.

I love this bag. I get lots of compliments. Sometimes I shorten the strap, sometimes I wear it crossbody.

Perfect size as a purse

So, I've been looking for a sling for a while where the zipper closes at the top while being worn. That's the exact reason I purchased this product. The zipper is backwards on the actual product compared to the photo and as a result, it will open from the bottom when wearing. For anyone who's had a sling bag, you know this is awkward when grabbing your wallet or phone. The one star is because it's useless now and the actual product was misrepresented in the photo. It's just not practical as a sling, I've had slings with the same flaw before and having to hold the bag upright when making purchases is really a problem because of the angle, I stopped using it because I got tired of dropping the contents of my purse while at the register when my hands were full.
