This was produced in China, not in the US. The range switch on this unit is not like the original. It is not as "clicky" - has a completely different tactile feel, and is also painted a sickly, dull red color. The switch does not feel as if it will last a long time. The mirror that is behind the scale to correct parallax errors actually makes the problem worse. This is because the reflective material is actually a piece of plastic which is not glued flat to the the back of the scale. You can actually see warps in it.I did not want to find out what else was wrong with this unit so I returned mine to Amazon for a refund. I place the fair market value of this analog meter at around $150. Let's get it there.
