Doesn't look appetizing
I used to find these candies in stores and loved them. They were fresh tasting with a good amount of pecans, chocolate, and caramel in the mix. I wanted to get some for a gift but couldn't find them in stores. I was happy to find them on Amazon but I am not happy with the purchase, especially at $30! I couldn't give this to anyone as a gift. The candy doesn't taste as fresh as the packages I purchased in a store and the container was shipped in a thin paper mailer without any cushion. I was unable to find a date on the jug and another label was placed over the distribution information from Sanders. This is probably why the candy looks so unappetizing. The candy rattled around in the plastic jug and got dusty and ugly. Sanders needs to rethink packaging the candy in this jug and it should be mailed so that the candy doesn't get messed up. Returning these.

Salt?
These are really good but mine came with salt on them. Unless I'm missing something, neither the description nor the picture shows salt on the candy. Also, not enough pecans but the caramel is smooth and not too sweet.

That bad, but not the best mixture.
For me and the years I have loved this type of candy, having sea-salt added to it, just didn’t work me; the salt over powered the other flavors.

Worst turtles ever
I wanted a nice milk chocolate turtle, or sometimes called a pixie, etc. These arrived in the plastic jar looking "dusty". I tried one and could not even taste any chocolate. I just tasted salt and caramel and pecan. Hmmmm, I must have bought a sea salt covered variety. It was so bad I had to verify it could even taste that bad so tried another. Exactly the same, didn't look appealing, couldn't taste the chocolate just a salty taste. I looked up my order and I looked at the jar. These were not a sea salt flavor! So bad that I actually took the entire jar and threw it in the trash. Luckily when I saw how much I had paid for the jar, Amazon Customer Service immediately gave me a refund.

Good product except for people trying to lower sodium intake or those not caring for the salty-sweet combo flavor.

Candy melted together
Candy was good but the dry-ice didn't stop the candy from melting together

Sanders pecan forties are excellent.
After reading some of the other reviews I nearly didn’t order them. I decided to take a chance and to my great relief they are wonderful. The caramel is soft and smooth which I was concerned about. The milk chocolate is good and the pecans are fresh and delicious We will be ordering these again.

Delicious!
These turtles have such a fresh and lovely flavor. You can tell they are made in small batches - and they are so fresh! I have ordered other brands and been disappointed in the not so recent past. These never disappoint!
