Color Your Own Van Gogh: A Coloring Book Paperback – September 15, 2015

This coloring book has High quality paper and a hard cardboard back. The hard back makes it easy to use in places other than a desk or table.We are using gel pens and they are working very well. Hubby bought me several coloring books for Christmas. He is the real artist in the family and I know he is enjoying this coloring book as much as I am. If you are a Van Gogh admirer then you will love this coloring book. This book is a step above the usual coloring books.

I bought this for my younger sister who is a huge Van Gogh fan. She loves it! There are pictures of the original paintings in the back for reference, which I thought was really cool. This, with some gel pens that don’t bleed, make a great gift.

So much fun! Coloring is generally therapeutic, and working from well known masterpieces to reimagine color schemes and textures is really enjoyable. The back cover is hard cardboard, so the surface is easy to use wherever you may be. The paper is high quality, and though I am using brush tip art markers, I have not had any issues with the ink bleeding through. I am very pleased.

I bought this book as a gift. The paper is good quality and thick. Images are printed on only one side. Although the pages are not perforated, it would not be too difficult to tear pages out or cut them out in order to color more easily if desired. Included are color plates of the paintings, so it's a nice reference guide if desired.

I really like this coloring book but I haven't been able to really play around with it, it may take some art mediums but I was planning on using soft pastels for it but the paper is too smooth for it to really take the pigment.

Bought this for my sister, it's very nicely made, bigger than I expected (I didn't pay attention to the dimensions. There's a small thumbnail of each of the paintings so you can compare yours with the original. A great idea, I highly recommend it.

Gorgeous coloring book with thick paper. I love the strokes that are there to paint. This is very well done. I also like that is is thick and has a piece of chip board to hold it flat and is a nice surface to color on.

It's a little difficult because there are no copies of the originals to use as a guide. I am just trying to consider it a challenge.

me entretengo horas iluminando las obras de arte de Van Gogh. Los dibujos se asemejan bastante a la pintura original. Lo recomiendo, será un lindo regalo para cualquier persona.

Unique outline for colourists to engage. Incredible wide range of subjects. With a “paint animation” movie coming out with Van Gogh biography this colouring book and thicker paper will be more attractive than ever.
