This is good bubble wrap and I know bubble wrap!
I have purchased many rolls of bubble wrap in my life, I have been an online vendor since 2004. I can tell you none of the bubble wraps I bough before left an impression on my mind like this one did. I read reviews that it doesn't't rip uniformly that the bubbles were not good , let me tell you I find all of that false. Sheets tear neatly when I wear my reading glasses (hint, hint). The bubbles are what should I call them? Bubbly and buoyant. I find this is the best as far as quality and price. I sell breakables on line and rely on this bubble wrap to protect them. I'm going to keep this order on repeat.

Excellent Bubble Technology at a Great Price Point!
America Bubble Boy has really achieved the pinnacle of protective bubble performance with this product. This wrap is outstanding in every way! This is my first order from American Bubble Boy, but boy, it is now definitely my go-to source!Technical performance:Test 1 - Burst Pressure Performance. I tested the American Bubble Boy Official Sealed Air Bubble Wrap - 90 feet x 3/16 x 12 - Perforated Every 12" for burst pressure using a Precision pressure measurement device, and found with n=75, the range of burst pressure for the bubbles was 3.35lb to 4.85lb, with a mean of 4.15lb and a standard deviation of .35lb. This is state of the art performance for this type of product, a testament to the manufacturing process quality and precision.Test 2 - Perforation Performance. I tested the ease with which the 12'' segments of the roll can be separated at the perforations, and found that the amount of force required was just the right amount to separate the section without deforming the product on either side of the perforation. This is a definite win! Deformation, as is well known in the field, while being irreparable also decreases the protectivity for the product.Test 3 - BP and HR Reduction (Therapeutic Effect). I tested the product, by selecting several 12" sections at random and bursting all of the bubbles on each section using my thumb and forefinger, to measure reduction in blood pressure and heart rate induced by the act of bursting the bubbles in this manner. I found that the product should carry a medical classification as a BP and HR reduction device! In this mode, the product is adaptable to various patient types. I found the greatest BP and HR reduction for me was by bursting the bubbles sequentially, row-by-row, from one edge of the 12" section to the other edge. I attribute this to my somewhat AR personality. I found that approaching the bursting in a stochastic fashion increased my BP and HR, as it became increasingly difficult to determine if I had burst all of the bubbles the further the test proceeded. Others may find that the random or stochastic approach works better for them, providing the joy of discovery when they find unburst bubbles after they think they are all burst. I know this would drive me bananas, but to each their own.I hope that this review of American Bubble Boy Official Sealed Air Bubble Wrap - 90 feet x 3/16 x 12 - Perforated Every 12" has been helpful to you, and that you will definitely choose American Bubble Boy for all of your protective and therapeutic bubble wrap needs.

Packaged Well and Tears Where It Should. Perfect for packing/moving (But NOT electronics!)
**If you are wrapping sensitive electronics (anything with a hard drive or CPU in it), see my note at the bottom**I first purchased the 350' x 3/16" bubble wrap from these guys 6 months ago to start packing up my elderly mom's home of 30 years. Now I'm getting to the bigger stuff, so need bigger bubbles. Just got the roll of 175' x 1/2" bubble wrap and am glad I went with the same business who provided me with a good product at a great price. THE ONLY time I bought bubble wrap from elsewhere they put the roll into a thin, cheap plastic bag like you'd see the cleaning staff putting in an office wastebasket, and slapped a shipping lable on it. Lame! Not with this seller. They stuck the rolls one on top of the other and then wrapped in a strong plastic shrink-like wrapping I've seen pros do. When I saw the rolls on my doorstep my first thought was that they accidentlly sent one 24" wide roll instead of 2 x 12" wide rolls. Nope, just packaged really well. Thank you!I'm packing everything imaginable from dishes to housewares, tools to electronics, and so on. Both the 3/16' and 1/2" sheets tear at the perforation where it should. I have to be careful and not get in too big of a hurry with the 3/16" bubbles or it will start to rip. That's on me. I always have knife/scissors near when working, so its no big deal to use a straight edge to get it started at the edge when separating sheets. These 1/2" bubbles are tougher and should hold up well to the abuse I'm about to put them through with the bigger and heavier stuff. I'm be doing the move in the next few weeks (god help me!), so if things don't go well with the rolls of wrap I'll post an update accordingly.** If you are packing/shipping electronics, you need to buy the PINK Anti-Static type of bubble wrap - NOT the Red stuff. Regular plastic wrap can build up static electicity really fast when it's moving around and rubbing. If it goes to ground and zaps your precious electronics/gadgets, bad things will happen. I was an IT Pro and built hundreds of computers. Ive seen the types of problems static discharge and very small amounts of electricity causes, and you are better off paying the extra to get the PINK Anti-static kind (and NOT the RED STUFF! It isn't anti-static).

Bubble wrap it up
I didn't unwind the roll or count the number of popped bubbles because at 700ft they work out to around 4.5 cents per sheet. It's not worth the time to care. Being shorted 50 wouldn't add up to $2 and they're being sold as much more than a $2 discount versus retail. People who buy the cheapest possible thing they can find and then complain if it isn't flawless must have learned it growing up listening to their parents argue about condoms.

Good value but pops easily.
This bubble wrap is a good value, but it pops more easily that some others. I want a thin bubble that resists popping because I use it to pack books for mailing. This warp would be better for wrapping multiple layers around fragile objects. For my use of protecting corners without much weight or bulk, I will spend the money for a different version next time.
