Does it come with alligator clips?

Attaching alligator clips to the battery is a very poor connection that would most likely burn up the motor due to the high resistance and causing it to pull amps above the rated capacity. This 12 volt motor pulls over 40 amps in normal operating mode. I bought heavy duty quick-connect connectors from High-Country and bolted them directly to the battery. Those alligator clips are not designed to handle that much current.

Is it a brushless motor?

This compressor is not brushless, but it is very quiet.
