All of Jolene's books are great but this one fell into my life at the right time. Being an empath is exhausting and at times, excruciating. This is a great and very thorough explanation of energy from nature, times of day and how to use it.

What a delightful book for anyone needing a boost right now in the middle of a pandemic! The author, Jolene Hart, is the author of the fantastic "Eat Pretty" books, which I enjoyed last summer, so even though I didn't previously have a lot of knowledge on energy, I was intrigued by her latest book and appreciate the research approach she takes when writing.Hart acknowledges that everyone's personal experience with energy will be different, and there's something here for readers whether they "view energy through the lens of the spiritual, the magical, or the scientific" (page 15). I tend to view health through the lens of the scientific, and there's a wealth of ideas here to infuse your days with more of what lights you up.I love the idea of being more aware of how the way I go about my days impacts how I feel. For example, thanks to Hart, I'm now trying to enjoy the morning sunlight as part of my morning routine (instead of fighting against it by readjusting my sleep mask!). She also helped me understand why I feel so much lighter after spending time working in the garden. And her advice on single-tasking is, well, something a lot of us would benefit from taking. Plus, she offers plenty of recipes for all times of the day.

Although released at a super hard time to be a book -- when bookstores are shuttered and no one can have this book speak to them from the shelves or see its beautiful color and smooth weight -- I believe this book came for such a time as this. It has been a beacon of hope to me to read and assimilate each morning as I work out another day in social distancing. I've always loved the Eat Pretty series and how it inspires me to create a life more beautiful; this one is the best yet. If you are on the fence, invest in this light. It is so, so worth it.

A real eye-opener and a magnificent guide to embarking on a healthy, centered lifestyle. What a great way to start my new year.

this book is amazing and so is the author. really gets you thinking and helps you stop and smell the flowers. we go every day non stop but don’t take time to care for ourselves or even understand ourselves. THIS book will help you do that!

I love this book!! It's beautiful with unique and nourishing recipes, inspiration and so much more. I love the sweet and simple approach to spirituality and mindfulness is general. Shining your light is easy and natural. :)

This is a beautiful book on helping you recognize, connect with, and support & ignite your energy. I’ve been looking for a book like this for a while. Great book!

An important feel good read and resource for this insane year we’re having. Truly enjoyed every page.
