Loose Fit Stays Up Marled Merino Wool Men's and Women's Sock 2 Pack

i have bought many socks from Extra Wide Sock company and they were indeed wide. These wool socks are not much wider than conventional wool socks . I wear size 13 EEE sneakers, and while these (red label XL) socks are long enough they are quite marginal in the width, a tight fit. They seem well made, and should considering the high price.XW socks should be XW. In the past I purchased "Diabetic Merino Wool Loose Fitting Socks by Wynn Wool" and they are indeed loose fitting at the top for wide calves but are not available for sale on amazon now. These however are not loose fitting. They are pretty much normal width socks (label says 25% looser than normal socks which may? barely be true) and are not even close to how loose fitting the previous brand I purchased was. I hope The Wynn Wool brand socks is sold again on Amazon, these may be going back. They do seem like well made socks but in less than an hour of wearing, there is already an indentation on my calves.

I ordered the XL although my shoe size is 13 6E because I have not found socks that are long enough in years....not to mention the width. Previously purchased socks, even in a Large size that is supposed to fit size 12-15 are too short and too tight through the Instep. These are a little large on my foot so I assume that they fit as they should on a larger foot. I like roomy socks so I will be happy with these. One of the best things about these socks is that they are large enough in the calf and do not bind. I am used to cutting socks at the top so that they will not cut off my circulation in my calf, but these are great! Now if Loose Fit will keep making these I will certainly be happy and buy more!

The socks are loose but stay up. They fit really wide feet and wide legs w/out making an indentation on the leg which is really important for people w/diabetes. My husband loves them. They keep his feet warm and dry. The only problem w/them is because of the high wool content, they aren't that resilient. My husband tends to go around the house in his socks and even on the deck, so they wear through fairly quickly particularly on the heels. But he's tried over a dozen brands [all sold on Amazon] and these are the best in terms of comfort, staying up, and warmth. They are worth the $$. :-)

I have huge calves and these socks were stretchy and stayed in place. So comfy and cozy too!

I was a bit hesitant to try a new brand and am glad I did. I like to wear merino wool socks for hiking, when I wear (fashion) boots, and generally on days when I am running around. Firstly, these socks feel fantastic! They are soft and fit perfectly, they did not feel tight at the end of the day like other brands I have tried. And they didn't bunch around my ankles either. Big bonus is the price. There are two pair in the package. I used to pay this much for one pair, not anymore! Thank you Loose Fit!

My fav socks now. Extremely comfortable, well made, easy to get on and stay on. Doesn't feel thin. Doesn't feel thick. Perfect in my opinion. 6-2 male weighing 250. I won't wear anything else after trying these. Hope this helps.

I purchased these socks for my father. His feet and legs are always cold because of his disability. His feet are large and swell and he doesn’t like tight socks. We have purchased so many socks and he never used them because they did not fit. Finally these socks he loved. After 10 years of searching. They are not tight, they do not slip down and most important they keep his feet and legs warm. He asked for me to purchase more pairs for him and I did! We loved them!
