My Baby Took To These
My baby didn't like sippy cups but really took to the straw. These don't spill and are easy to take along in the diaper bag.

Best we’ve found
There is no perfect sippy cup. There just isn’t. They either leak or are impossible to clean or both. This one WILL leak a bit, especially when thrown, and you do need to put forth some effort to clean it (take the weight off the straw, pinch the valves in the straw while running water through it). That being said, it leaks less than others we’ve tried and is easier to clean than others we’ve tried. And we’ve tried A LOT.

Mediocre at best
These cups are mediocre at best. They are absolutely not leak proof (as evidenced by the photo) and I feel like I need to chase my one year around with a towel in order to keep my house from smelling like spoiled milk.Because of the “leak proof” valve design, if your child doesn’t drink all of the liquid out of the straw (mine certainly never seems to!) then when you close the lid (or your kid throws it on the floor), the remaining liquid in the straw goes everywhere. It shouldn’t be a lot, but somehow it always is!Also, if you don’t perfectly align the top when you screw it on, it’s extra leaky. When you first buy the product, there’s a clear plastic sheet covering the weighted part of the straw. Took me too many reviews to figure that out!!Washing the straw isn’t difficult but it also isn’t super easy or convenient. Munchkin does provide a cleaner for it but honestly, how many times are you going to use that before it’s lost? Finally, would it have really been so hard for Munchkin to put OZ measurement lines on the cup? I know many parents (myself included) are using these while weaning from the bottle and it sure would be helpful to get a sense of how many ounces are being drank. The cup works and my son likes it just fine. It’s just not as wonderful as the super high consensus review suggests.

This is a great cup and I bought more of them
This is a great cup and I bought more of them. My son doesn't get tipping his bottles up to drink from them. He can drink from the straw in this cup in any position with the weighted straw, and it does not leak. The only downfall is that the cover that slides over the straw falls off easily, but the cup functions without it.

Great for learning to use a straw cup
Our toddler loves these cups. We have several so that we can always have some on hand. We don't always use the lid, and we managed to have one lid crack when it was thrown at just the right angle one time so that lid got recycled. I love that no matter how this is held it will still work. We did have a couple issues with pressure building in it and some juice come out the straw when it was sitting all by itself, but usually just pinching the straw to get out the air helps. And of course like most other things that are plastic if you leave them damp and over some time they will get mold. The brushes that come with them are usually able to get it all out though.

... bought one of these from a department store and loved them so went to Amazon to buy more
I bought one of these from a department store and loved them so went to Amazon to buy more. Unfortunately the ones I go from Amazon are horrible. They leak uncontrollably and the flip top cover comes off all the time making it useless to cover the straw. Maybe there is a defect with these but I would rather buy it from a store.

Excellent cup for 12month old, he’s able to drink from it well and it can be bounced around without leaking
