The towel bar is actually a 83 watt towel bar that takes a long time to heat up towels. I called the manufacturer and they said that it is a new model with old stickers. The box says 83 watts and the UL label says 83 watts. It's 83 watts. If it wasn't for it hanging on the wall I would return it. VERY disappointed with the product.

Dries the towels quickly
I like the fact that you can hang a damp towel on the bar and it dries the towel and keeps it from having a mildew smell. This bar eliminates us having to wash a towel after every use.

Nice looking but not hot enough.
This was a nice looking unit,but it didn't get hot enough for me and one of the wall arms was not welded on straight so I returned it.
