This Icon is a reproduction and presents the image of the Our Lady of Czestochowa (Poland) which is located in the local shrine since 1384. The Sanctuary is a place of pilgrimage and is famous for its miraculous cures. The Madonna of Czestochowa has been considered in 1656 by King Jan Kazimierz- "The Queen of Poland" The Icon is handmade by me directly on pine wood using transfer method. After applying special aging techniques the image is protected by several layers of environmental friendly clear coat and wax. . The wood has been carefully selected and dried.
