This is a solid and beautiful piece of furniture. It’s well made and fairly easy to put together. It took us just under two hours using the included tool and a single screwdriver. However, the strong smell from the bare slats is a little overwhelming in a small room. It’s not entirely unpleasant, it’s just strong. I am very happy with my purchase, but am thankful the weather is still decent enough to leave the windows open to allow for ventilation. I’ve had it together for three days now, and the odor seems to be lessening, but I can tell it may take another week or two before it’s less noticeable. I would suggest this bed frame to anyone looking to purchase a solid wood bed for a reasonable price, but keep in mind the fact that it is pine and has that strong pine smell that will remain with it for a while after you take it out of the box. If possible, leave the pieces in a garage or other dry clean place for some time before you bring it in and assemble it.

Amazing quality. This item is real wood and easy to put together I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of this bed frame. It was everything I was looking for and the finish on the wood was beautiful. I highly recommend buying this bed frame.

Excellent quality. I was hesitant as my sister had purchased a bed off Amazon (different brand) and the cross beams were so flimsy they broke the same day. The cross beams on this bed are very sturdy. I assembled the bed on my own in 2.5 hours. The wood and stain are beautiful and it looks more expensive than it was. I have a Basset mission style bedroom set and the Walnut ties in beautifully! I didn’t notice any strong smell and slept great on it the same day. Instructions were easy to follow but pay close attention. I managed to jam a wooden dowel in the wrong, too small, hole and had to drill it out as a result. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone!

I have two teenage sons who outgrew their old beds. We bought two full size in the walnut and couldn’t be happier! These were the easiest beds I have EVER put together!! I’ve assembled a lot of beds with a millions of billions of pieces, But this is NOT one of them. The directions were super easy to follow. And most importantly they are sturdy!! And that for me…is pure gold. They are a true Full size bed. I wouldn’t necessarily say they are low to the ground because I was looking at other reviews and I was a little worried, but along with their 14in mattress it’s standard height. So if you are on the fence, I’m here to say get the bed!!!!!

Two boxes, heavier than I thought, which is good. Very well packaged, no issues. Cherry is a dark cherry, which is what I wanted. Finish appears stained and then a fine, smooth sealer. Zero outgassing issues. Finish appears better and more consistent IMHO than what you see in the pictures, but perhaps that is just my bed? All boards straight and true, and higher quality than typical big box store pine. Back of headboard is not finished, but if you were not placing the bed up to a wall, it would not be difficult to get some fabric, a staple gun, brad nailer and make a cover for it. Hardware is okay quality. If you're going to set it up once, no problem. If it's going to be taken down and set up again, some of the smaller screws you might replace (I stripped the heads of two, tiny screws, they gave me 3 extra). Most will self pilot without a problem. Center brace, at head and foot, drilling into thickness, my wood was so hard, I had to pilot, so if you have a tiny drill bit, it might help. Frankly, for the price, I'm amazed at the quality, finish, fit, and even the hardware. Great value!

Purchased this bed because of the low profile (10" from floor to bottom of slats) and lovely Shaker design and the fact it's made of solid pine. It arrived in just a few days in a well packed box. There was no damage and all the parts where there. The instructions weren't the best but we were able to figure it out and get it together. The finish of the wood is smooth and the cherry stain was evenly applied. The slats are attached together with webbing and you screw them to the side bar rails making for a sturdy foundation. We would buy from the company again.

I’m giving 4 stars, now I have to buy foam spacers to go between the headboard and the side rail. I’m not going to lie the bed is really nice and a great price, but I’m not sure why manufacturers are making the interior way bigger than the standard size of a mattress.(accident waiting to happen) I bought a full bed, and have a new full mattress from a bed company in Columbia SC, that makes the mattresses. Even the bunkie board I bought last year is too small. Pictures are included, I pushed the mattress to one side and the end to the bottom to show how big gap is.
