ROCCAT APURI Active USB Hub with Mouse Bungee, Black

I bought this over 8 years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. It still looks brand new. This bungee does great at keeping the mouse cord out of the way plus it doubles as a usb hub. Great product.

I've been using the Roccat Apuri usb hub/mouse bungee for a little over 3 months now. I've never used a mouse bungee prior, but it's been a great addition to my pc gaming life.Before buying the Apuri, I priced out what it would be to purchase a 4-port usb hub and a mouse bungee separately. Turned out that good/high-quality/name-brands-I-trusted ones ran about $20 a piece. So, in effect, what you're buying is a space-saving tool that looks like a glowing blue scorpion.As far as its respective functions go:~As a usb hub, it works great. I've got it plugged into my tower and have a wifi usb stick as well as a bluetooth usb stick running off of it at all times. I have yet to notice any real lag through the connection and whether I'm charging my iPad (won't say it's charging, but actually is) or moving data from flash drive to hard drive, everything moves along at a ready pace.~As a mouse bungee, it's absolutely wonderful. I never feel like I'm fighting my bungee for mouse cord, never even really notice my mouse cord at all these days. I think making the decision has really lent itself to lessening the frustration I feel while gaming. I never miss a shot due to a caught cable.It's gotten to the point where the weakest link in my gaming life is me. Which I'm more than okay with.

The ROCCAT Apuri is a sturdy, heavy, and flexible mouse bungee. I am a low sensitivity gamer and often use long mouse swipes across an over sized mouse pad. As long as you have the appropriate slack on the line, the ROCCAT bungee will keep the wire and extra slack "managed". I bought this product purely for the mouse bungee function, not for the USB hub. But a few cons that I noticed that doesn't warrant a 5/5 star rating would be.... the USB ports are 2.0 (for those looking for USB 3.0 ports) and there is no toggle on/off for the blue light, so you get it no matter what. It is also a little pricey, but then again I didn't purchase for the USB ports and back light so I shouldn't complain about that. Overall it is a great mouse bungee and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a sturdy bungee. FYI: Just my opinion but I feel it beats the Razer and CM storm mouse bungee systems and is on par with the Tt eSports Galeru.

Originally the only mouse bungee that I knew of was the Razer one that costs $20. That one looked fine but after reading reviews I wasn't entirely convinced so I kept searching.I came across this from a google search and since I'm a sucker for black/blue things I scoured the internet for reviews on this product.This mouse bungee is excellent. It has 4 USB ports and an optional power cable to make it a powered USB hub. The overall design is something that looks straight out of Starcraft II (very futuristic and the blue led's look awesome). The mouse bungee makes my G400 feel like a wireless mouse and I absolutely love almost everything about it. Almost everything.The only real con is the price. $40 is very steep for a simple piece of rubber and a usb hub with pretty blue lights. If it cost $20 it would be a no-brainer home run but Roccat elected to set the price at $40.So to conclude, the only real problem is the price. $40 is steep for a glorified usb hub with mouse bungee but if you can spare the cash and already have all the other essentials of your computer setup, then this would be a great luxurious addition. If you can get over the price, then buy it.

This Bungee is amazing! I still use it today with no problem, the extra USB slots is awesome and the bungee works great with my mouse!Con: I really wish I could turn off the blue lights sometimes as they are pretty bright.

I really love this USB Hub with Mouse Bungee. It holds the cord with no issues and truly does what it advertises. My gaming mouse feels wireless and the cord never gets caught on anything I have on my desk nor am I tugging to get the cord length I need. I set it up and have not had to adjust it since. The USB hubs are also a very nice feature indeed. I use them frequently for plugging in quick items like my camera or cell phone. My only issue is that the blue lights can not be turned off without unplugging the unit (both the power cord and the main USB cord). It would be nice if those lights would go off when the computer is in sleep mode, or have a small switch that allows it to be turned off. This is the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 (It's really a 4.5). Otherwise, the design is perfect!

I received this unit today and must say this mouse bungee device is superbly designed and well worth the $$$$.I'm impressed with how flexible the goose neck is that supports my Kone XTD mouse cable. I'm more than satisfied with this product and think that ROCCAT should offer it as an optional bundle with their mice. The power assisted 4 usb port is also a defining feature that works well for my configuration. Currently using two of the usb ports one for an iphone connection the other for an Xbox 360 controller. The other two usb ports will probably be used for different thumb drives. ROCCAT designs have hooked me as a more than satisfied consumer. The only negative I have is the lack of tutorials and examples of Their RYOS //MK PRO keyboard. I like show me stuff by way of examples. Need to have my imagination kick started by early adventurers that are willing to hold hands and walk others through the maze of ideas that can be created.

Looks bigger than it is. I have Several Roccat products and i love them all. Great quality and very useful on the new Alienware that has only 3 usb ports(???). I keep looking for an off button, I think it's the only thing that the Apuri is missing, I keep thinking it's there but nope it's not. If you need a USB hub get this one it plugs into the wall so you get max power for all you external drives and anything that requires 100% power from USB. Only reason for the 4 stars is no off button as the light is always on and unplugging it is a pain.

Great product! My mouse feels like a wireless mouse now even though it has one of those inflexible wrapped wire. The blue led lighting fits perfectly my setup color scheme and the USB hub is a very welcome feature to have. Wish they were USB 3 instead of 2, but I won't let that affect my rating since I got this for the bungee so it's better than having nothing.

Ive always loved Roccat products and they did not disappoint, I would recommend to everyone!
